Picks one of four basic card looks. Requires Manage Server; without it the bot replies "Requires Manage Server." The reply is visible only to you and reads "Card template set to gradient." with the name you picked.
The choices are Gradient, Dark, Light and Minimal. Each draws the same centred card, 1,024 by 400 pixels: the member's avatar in a circle with a blue ring, the line "Welcome to <server>", their display name and "Member #N". Gradient is a dark blue gradient and Dark a near-black card, both with a thin blue strip along the bottom edge. Light is a pale card with dark text and blue accents. Minimal is a dark gradient without the strip.
Picking a look here replaces any design saved in the Card Studio, so the card goes back to this simple layout. Open the Card Studio to design it again.
Good to know
- The command does not switch the card on or off. That toggle, Send a welcome card, is in the Card Studio and is on by default.
- The Card Studio has 12 templates and edits every part of the card, including a background you upload or link to.
- When the chosen welcome message carries its own picture, that picture is shown instead of the card.
- A card that takes too long to build is dropped and the greeting goes out without it.
