The Discord server analytics bot that shows who stays.

Analytics is YourBot's statistics service. It counts messages, voice time, joins and leaves, never what anyone said. It turns them into 11 dashboard pages, weekly retention cohorts, leaderboards and roles members earn. All of it runs on the Free plan.

Eleven pages in four groups

Home tells you how the server is doing. Each page under Your server opens with the question it answers and says what its charts show in words. Put it to work acts on the numbers. Housekeeping holds the settings.

Who stays, and who is about to leave

New members are filed under the week they joined. Every night Analytics works out how many from each week came back the next day, a week on and a month on. The Going quiet list on the Members page names the regulars who have started to drift.

Growth · Week by week
Week ofPeopleNext dayA week onA month on
Aug 17 112 48% 54 30% 34 21% 24
Aug 24 96 47% 45 31% 30 Too new
Aug 31 88 43% 38 27% 24 Too new
Sep 7 104 51% 53 33% 34 Too new
Sep 14 91 45% 41 Too new Too new
Back means they chatted or joined voice at any point from that day on. A week too new to measure reads Too new, never zero.

Who takes part and who leaves fast

The share of new members who chatted or joined voice within a day of joining, and how many left again within a day or a week.

Regulars going quiet, by name

Members who chatted or joined voice in the last 14 days and then went silent for 5 days are listed by name on the Members page, while there is still time to bring them back.

Who invited whom

Every join is matched to the invite it came through, with a top inviters table and how many of their joins are still here. A join that leaves within 10 minutes, an account younger than 7 days or a self-invite is flagged as fake.

Tenure and account age

Median and average days in the server with the newest and longest serving tenth, and the account age of new joiners, which is where a wave of fresh accounts shows up.

Do new members stay?

Of the 412 people who joined, 309 are still here. Most who leave go fast: 61 left within a day.

  1. 412 100% Joined
  2. 338 82% Got a role
  3. 249 60% Said hello
  4. 142 34% Joined voice
  5. 171 42% Came back after a week
  6. 309 75% Still here today
Each step is measured from the member's own join time.

Where the talking happens

Best times lays the week out as 7 days by 24 hours in your server's time zone, for chat, voice or members online. Click any hour to see who was around and where, or compare it with the period before.

Growing or fading takes a 20 percent swing on the period before. Quiet means nothing for 14 days.
Messages, in context Messages per day with a 7-day average, the change on the period before and a banner when today runs far above or below the last 14 days. Replies, pictures or files, links, stickers and mentions show as shares.
Voice, in depth Hours and the most people in voice at once, median and 95th percentile session length, returning voice members across 8 weeks, screen share as its own metric and the pairs who spend the most time in voice together.
Online and playing, if you want them Turn on status and activity tracking in Settings to fill the Online and Playing tabs: how many members are online, idle or busy through the day and what they play, stream and listen to. Both need the Presence intent and stay off until you turn them on.

Numbers that do something

The same counts drive four things that run without you: roles members earn, alerts to a channel, live numbers in your channel list and markers on your charts.

Role rewards

Pick a role and up to 8 conditions on 15 metrics, from messages and voice hours to streaks, account age and members invited. Each reward runs on its own schedule, from every 10 minutes to once a day, and can take the role back when someone stops qualifying.

Alerts

Five rule types: activity drop, spam spike, activation drop, voice peak and dead channel, each posting to the channel you pick. A drop or a dead channel posts once when it starts and once when it clears instead of repeating while it lasts. The others wait out a cooldown you set.

Counter channels

Twenty kinds of counter, from members, boosts and emojis to game server players, Bluesky followers, a clock or a countdown, up to 4 in one channel name, with goals that announce themselves. Set them up on the dashboard or with /counter. Discord allows two renames per channel every 10 minutes, so each one updates on a 6-minute slot.

Chart markers

Add a marker on any date in Settings, or let 17 sources mark the charts for you: giveaways, announcements, raids and lockdowns, events, streams going live, member milestones, boost tier changes and more. Turning them on also looks back over the last year.

05

What members see

Members get their own numbers in Discord, drawn as images. The stats and leaderboard cards take the colours and background you pick in the card designer.

/stats
Your stats card or another member's, with a Hide my card button on your own.
/me/user
The same card for you or for someone else.
/leaderboard
A ranked card with dropdowns to switch metric and time frame.
/top
Top members or channels by messages or voice, over 7, 14, 30 or 90 days.
/server
A server overview card with members, activity and sparklines.
/chart
Messages, voice, joins and leaves, one channel or one member, per day.

The leaderboard on the Members page ranks 12 metrics over 7 to 365 days. There is no XP bar and no level curve: ranks are raw activity.

06

Counts, not conversations

Analytics records that a message happened, not what it said. What leaves the dashboard, and who sees it, is up to you.

One message, as Analytics stores it
Kept
  • Channel, author and message IDs
  • Date, hour and weekday
  • Whether it was a reply
  • How many attachments, embeds, stickers and mentions
Never kept
  • What the message said
  • The files themselves

The one exception is the starboard, off by default: a starred message is reposted in your starboard channel.

Retention you set Keep 30, 90, 180 or 365 days of raw activity, 90 by default. Older rows are deleted every night.
Filters that delete nothing Count only the roles you pick, or leave out members and voice states like AFK. These filters change what the pages count, not what is recorded, so switching one off brings the numbers straight back.
Presence is opt in twice Status and activity tracking stay off until you turn them on, and cannot turn on without the Presence intent.
A read-only dashboard Open a read-only page of server totals to members who sign in, to chosen roles or to everyone. It never shows a member's name.
An API for your tools Five read-only endpoints behind server keys, up to 5 at a time, each shown once and stored as a hash, 60 requests a minute.
CSV exports Fifteen CSV downloads with their filters applied, from Home to a single member, with ISO 8601 timestamps and a guard against spreadsheet formulas.

Real numbers on day one

Setup takes a minute and imports your past messages, so the charts have something to say the first time you open them.

  1. Step 1 Add YourBot Sign in with Discord and add the bot to your server. The Free plan needs no card.
  2. Step 2 Run Analytics setup Setup creates a private #analytics-alerts channel, leaves bots out of the counts and adds a starter alert for a 30 percent drop over 7 days.
  3. Step 3 Let the history import Up to 365 days of messages the bot can read are counted in the background. Voice time is recorded from then on.
  4. Step 4 Put the numbers to work Add role rewards, counter channels and more alerts, and share the dashboard or your stats card when you are ready.

Questions

What is the best Discord server analytics bot?

YourBot's built-in Analytics service covers message, voice and member activity across 11 dashboard pages, with weekly retention cohorts, heatmaps, leaderboards, automatic role rewards and alerts in the same dashboard as the rest of your services, all on the Free plan.

How do I see stats for my Discord server?

Add YourBot, switch Analytics on and run the one-click setup. It creates a private alerts channel, leaves bots out of the counts, adds a starter alert and imports up to 365 days of your message history, so the dashboards have real data on day one.

Does YourBot have levels or XP?

No XP bar and no level-up message. Analytics ranks members on real activity such as messages, voice hours, reactions and days active, and a role reward grants a Discord role once someone meets the conditions you set.

Can members earn roles automatically from their activity?

Yes. Pick a Discord role and up to 8 conditions on 15 metrics, each with a threshold and a window. The reward runs on its own schedule, from every 10 minutes to once a day, grants the role and can take it back when a member stops qualifying. YourBot needs Manage Roles with its own role above the reward role.

Does it track voice activity?

Yes, in depth. Voice hours, session counts, median and 95th percentile session length, daily peak concurrent users, returning voice members across 8 weeks, top voice channels and who is in voice right now, plus screen share as its own metric.

Does the bot read my members' messages?

No. Analytics keeps who posted, where and when, and whether a message was a reply or carried attachments, embeds, stickers or mentions, as counts. The text is never stored. The only place content is copied is the starboard, which stays off until you turn it on.

Can I get an alert when my server goes quiet?

Yes. An activity drop alert posts to a channel you pick when messages or active members fall by the share you set against the period before, and posts again when activity is back. Spam spikes, activation drops, voice peaks and dead channels have alerts too.

Can people outside the dashboard see the numbers?

If you let them. On the Sharing page you can open a read-only page of server totals to members, to chosen roles or to everyone, or give a tool an API key. Fifteen CSV downloads sit in the pages' chart menus and side panels. The read-only dashboard never shows a member's name.

Is the analytics service free?

Yes. Analytics is one of the ten core services on the Free plan, with every page included: cohort retention, heatmaps, CSV exports, chart markers, counter channels, the read-only dashboard and the API. Premium adds your own custom bot and lets marketplace plugins and your Plugin Builder creations run on your server.
