Find a group tonight

Group Finder replaces the #lfg channel where posts scroll away. A player runs /group create or New group on the dashboard, picks a template and the group goes up with a roster of named roles that others claim from a menu.

A waiting list that moves up by itself When the group is full, the next player waits in line and moves up the moment a seat opens.
Ready checks from a button The leader starts a ready check and watches the tally fill in.
A reminder before the start Everyone signed up gets a DM about 15 minutes before a scheduled group starts, and the group carries Add to calendar links.

What Discord bots do I need for a gaming community?

Most gaming servers need five things: a way to find groups, an event scheduler for raid nights, temporary voice rooms, moderation with raid protection and activity stats. YourBot ships all five as built-in services, so it is one bot to invite instead of five.

What is the best LFG bot for a Discord gaming server?

How do I schedule raid nights in Discord?

Use the built-in Beacon Events service. Create the event from one of ten templates or from scratch. Members sign up by button into role slots with caps, and reminders go out by channel post or DM.

Can each party get its own voice channel?

Yes. Voice Channels gives you one lobby channel: joining it makes a personal voice room and moves the member in, and the room deletes itself when the last person leaves. Whoever created it gets Discord's native channel controls over that room.

How do I stop raids on a big gaming server?

Sentinel counts joins in a rolling one-minute window and switches the server into raid mode once it passes your threshold, 10 by default. Depending on the level it slows every channel, quarantines or kicks new arrivals and can raise Discord's verification level, then restores your original slowmode and channel permissions when it stands down.

Which games does the group finder work with?

Any game, because the game on a group is free text. The setup wizard also reads your channel and role names to recognise WoW, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, ESO, Destiny, Path of Exile, Diablo, Lost Ark and Throne and Liberty, then seeds forum tags to match and starter templates with roles for WoW and FFXIV.

Can members earn roles for being active?

Yes. Role Rewards grants a Discord role once a member passes a threshold you set on any of 15 activity metrics, from messages and voice hours to longest daily streak. Each reward runs on its own schedule, from every ten minutes to once a day, and a role can be revoked automatically if someone falls back below the bar.

Is YourBot free for gaming servers?
