These are the three most-used Discord bots whose own sites present giveaways as a main feature, ranked by the server counts they publish. MEE6 runs giveaways as one of its plugins, GiveawayBot is built for giveaways and Invite Tracker lists them among the features of its bot. Everything this page says about them comes from their own websites and docs.

MEE6

MEE6 is one of the most widely used Discord bots, and Giveaways is a plugin you turn on from its web dashboard. Members join and leave with a Participate button, and the prize can be one you name or MEE6 XP or coins from its Leveling and Economy plugins. Entry can be limited to chosen roles, other roles can be denied and certain roles can get better or lower chances to win. You can set the post's author name, colour, title, fields and footer. A new winner is drawn with /reroll. MEE6's own Free vs Premium table marks the Giveaways plugin as not available on Free and included on Premium.

Best if you already have MEE6 Premium and want to give away XP or coins from its other plugins.

GiveawayBot

GiveawayBot is an open-source bot built for giveaways, and the most used bot of its kind by published server counts. /gstart with a time, a number of winners and a prize starts a giveaway in one line, and /gcreate walks you through the setup. Members enter with a button on the post, /gend ends a giveaway early and /greroll, or Apps > Reroll Giveaway on an ended giveaway, picks a new winner. A summary button on an ended giveaway shows a summary of it, and /gsettings sets the embed colour and the emoji or text on the entry button. Its site calls it simple and free to use and has a Get Premium button. Its source code is public on GitHub.

Best if you want a giveaway running from one command, from a bot whose code you can read.

Invite Tracker

Invite Tracker counts every invite and shows who brings people to a server, and its site lists giveaways among the features built into the same bot, beside leaderboards, verification, raid protection and tickets. Giveaways are made on its web dashboard or with /giveaway create. They can ask for all of a set of roles or just one of them, and for a number of messages sent in the server. Bonus entry roles raise some members' chances, and blacklisted roles keep others out. A giveaway can be scheduled with a start date and set to repeat, templates fill in the details of the next one and an ended giveaway can be rerolled from the dashboard for as many winners as you pick. Invite Tracker is free for every server, and Premium raises the limits and adds roles for the winners.

Best if you want giveaways with role and message rules, bonus entry roles, schedules and templates, set up on a web dashboard.

Giveaways, built into YourBot

Giveaways is one of YourBot's ten core services, and every feature below is free on the shared bot. A giveaway is built on the web in four steps, with the post shown beside the form as Discord will show it, or posted from Discord with /giveaway create. Members enter with a button, a reaction or either one, and in first come, first served mode the first clicks win on the spot. A giveaway holds up to 20 prizes with up to 100 winners each, and the bot can hand each winner a key, code or link in a DM and give winners a role.

Rules for who can enter cover account age, time in the server, roles to have or not have and a number of messages counted by the Analytics service. Boosters and roles you pick can get extra chances, and blocked members never enter or win. A giveaway can be scheduled or kept as a draft, and it can repeat every day, week or month. Templates keep the prizes, rules, look and replies for the next one. At the end time the bot draws from the operating system's random source, checks that each winner is still in the server and posts the results. An optional Watch live page shows who is in and plays the draw.

Best if you want every giveaway feature free, with several prizes, prize codes and entry rules, in the same bot as moderation and the other services.

Frequently asked questions

Which Discord giveaway bot is the most used?

By the server counts the bots publish, MEE6 is the most used bot with giveaways among its main features and GiveawayBot is the most used bot built for giveaways. Invite Tracker comes third. The counts change every day, so this page gives the order and not the numbers.

Which giveaway bots are free?

GiveawayBot and Invite Tracker are free to use, and both offer Premium; Invite Tracker's raises its limits and adds roles for winners. MEE6's own plans table lists its Giveaways plugin under Premium only. YourBot's Giveaways runs free on the shared bot with every feature; Premium adds your own custom bot and the marketplace.

How does YourBot pick the winners?

By a weighted random draw from the operating system's random source, so extra chances count. A winner who left the server or is blocked from giveaways is replaced. If too few people can win, nobody wins and the giveaway is cancelled rather than drawn short.

Can I move from another giveaway bot?

Yes. Let the old bot's running giveaways end, then post the next ones with Giveaways, from the web builder or with `/giveaway create`. Save a giveaway as a template and each new one can start from it.
