Tell them you are live

Add your Twitch username to the Social service and pick a channel. From then on every stream gets one alert that follows it from the first minute to the last.

Posted when you go live YourBot checks Twitch every 2 minutes by default, or every minute if you want it sooner, and posts when a new stream starts.
One alert per stream The alert belongs to that stream, so a long stream never posts twice and the next stream gets a fresh one.
Kept current while you stream Every 5 minutes by default the title, game, viewer count and preview are updated in place, and the update never pings anyone again.
Four ways to finish When the stream ends, keep the alert, turn it into a recap with the duration, peak viewers and a VOD link when Twitch has one, delete it or post a short offline line.
Pings only who asked Mention the roles you pick, such as a role members opt into. @everyone and @here stay off unless you switch them on for that feed.
Titles cannot ping Mentions come from your settings, never from the stream title, so a role mention typed into a title reaches nobody.
Only the games you pick Add a game filter and streams in games you did not list are skipped.
A role while you are live Give the streamer's Discord account a role while the stream is on, and it comes off when the stream ends.

Post as YourBot or through a webhook with the feed's own name and avatar, into a channel, a thread or a forum. In an announcement channel the alert can be published to servers that follow it.

Uploads and posts, too

The same service follows the rest of what you post. Each feed has its own channel, roles, message and filters.

FeedChecked every
  • YouTube15 minNew uploads from a channel ID, an @handle or any youtube.com channel link.
  • Bluesky5 minPosts from any account.
  • Reddit30 minA subreddit or a Reddit search, as a feed.
  • RSS or Atom15 minA blog, a podcast or a newsletter with a feed link.
Default check intervals. You can slow any feed down. YouTube is an uploads feed, so it has no go-live signal. There are no Kick, TikTok, X, Instagram or Facebook feeds.
Keyword filters Post only when a keyword matches, never when another does. Exclude always wins.
Digests Instead of a post per item, one message every 15 minutes, hour, 6 hours or day, listing up to 25 items.
See it before it posts The edit page shows the exact Discord message the feed will send, and Test posts the newest item right away.
A broken feed tells you After 5 failed checks in a row a feed pauses and the owner gets a notice. Reset turns it back on.

When the stream sends people over

A shout-out sends people to your Discord all at once. Welcome gives them roles and a check at the door, and Sentinel steps in when the wave looks like a raid.

Roles on join

New members get their roles as they join, or after a delay of up to 10 minutes.

A check at the door

Verify with a button, a captcha or a web page, for everyone or only for accounts younger than a set number of days or with no avatar.

A greeting with a card

A welcome message with a welcome card the bot draws itself, and a DM if you want one.

SentinelRaid mode

Sentinel counts joins over a rolling minute. Past 10 a minute it moves the server into Hard raid mode by itself and stands down after 30 minutes. Both numbers are yours to change.

  1. Soft A 10 second slowmode in every text channel.
  2. Hard A 30 second slowmode, every new join quarantined, kicked or banned and every admin DMed. Arms itself here
  3. Lockdown Nobody can post, verification goes to its highest level and new joins are kicked.

A big shout-out can bring real fans faster than that. If yours often beat 10 joins a minute, raise the threshold so they are not held at the door. When raid mode stands down, the slowmode you had before comes back. More on Sentinel

Questions

What is the best Discord bot for streamers?

One that handles go-live alerts, new arrivals and the community between streams without a separate bot for each. YourBot runs Twitch go-live alerts that update while you stream, YouTube uploads, welcome roles and verification, raid protection, watch-party voice rooms, events and giveaways on one bot, and all of them are on the Free plan.

Can a Discord bot post when I go live on Twitch?

Yes. Add a Twitch feed in YourBot's Social service with your Twitch username and pick a channel. YourBot checks Twitch every 2 minutes by default and posts one alert per stream with the title, the game, the viewer count and the stream preview, then updates it every 5 minutes without pinging again.

What happens to the alert when my stream ends?

You pick per feed: keep it, turn it into a recap with the duration, final and peak viewers and a VOD link when Twitch has one, delete it or post a short offline message.

Does the go-live alert ping @everyone?

Only if you switch that on for the feed. Otherwise it mentions just the roles you choose, such as a notifications role members opt into, and text in a stream title can never trigger a ping.

Can it post my YouTube videos too?

Yes, new uploads. Paste the channel ID, the @handle or any youtube.com channel link and YourBot resolves it when you save. The feed is checked every 15 minutes by default. It follows uploads, so there is no separate go-live signal for YouTube the way there is for Twitch.

Which platforms does it support?

Twitch go-live alerts, plus feeds for YouTube uploads, Bluesky posts, Reddit and any RSS or Atom feed. It has no Kick, TikTok, X, Instagram or Facebook feeds.

Does YourBot sync my Twitch subscribers into Discord roles?

No. YourBot does not connect to your Twitch account, so it never sees your subscriber list. It works with Discord roles: Welcome hands out roles on join, and a giveaway can require or exclude roles you pick.

What happens when a stream sends a wave of new members?

With Sentinel on, it counts joins over a rolling minute. Past your threshold, 10 a minute by default, it switches the server into Hard raid mode: a 30 second slowmode and every new join quarantined, kicked or banned as you choose. It stands down after 30 minutes and restores your slowmode. If your shout-outs bring more real fans than that, raise the threshold.

Can I run giveaways for my viewers?

Yes. Entry can require a minimum account age, time in the server, roles or a message count (with Analytics on). Chosen roles and server boosters can get extra chances, and each giveaway can have a Watch live page with a live clock, who is in and an animated draw that anyone can watch without logging in.

Is it free?

Yes. Social and every other service on this page are among the ten core services on the Free plan, run by the shared YourBot bot with no feature held back. Premium, billed per server, adds your own custom bot and lets marketplace plugins and your Plugin Builder creations run on your server.
