YourBotAppStudy rooms that open on demand
Pre-made study rooms sit empty most of the week. Voice Channels gives you a lobby instead: join it and a room of your own appears, and the room deletes itself when the last person leaves.
- Step 1 Join the lobby A member joins Join to study. That is the whole request.
- Step 2 A room appears The bot creates a room from the lobby's name template, makes the member its owner and moves them in.
- Step 3 The owner runs it A control panel arrives by DM, and every button on it is also a /voice command.
- Step 4 Gone when empty When the last person leaves, the room is deleted. You can switch that off.
Revision sessions people sign up for
Beacon Events replaces the message asking who is free on Thursday with a post members sign up to by button, and Announcements puts the deadlines on a schedule.
Deadlines on a schedule
A help desk for questions
Questions asked in a busy channel scroll away before anyone answers. Tickets gives each one a private space and keeps a record when it closes.
YourBotAppThree ways to hold it
A private channel, a private thread under a channel you choose or an application form that lands in a review queue with Accept and Reject buttons.
Questions first
An intake form asks for the details before a tutor reads anything: short or long answers, numbers, dates, dropdowns and yes or no. A question can depend on an earlier dropdown or yes or no answer.
An answer that stays
Closing a channel or thread ticket saves a transcript of up to 1,000 messages in the dashboard, so the answer outlives the channel.
Hours in voice that count
Analytics records every voice session from join to leave, so the hours your members spend in study rooms add up per member and per channel.
mira leads with 42.5 h in voice, ahead of kai with 38 h in voice.
- 1 mira 42.5 h
- 2 kai 38 h
- 3 juno 31.2 h
- 4 sol 27.8 h
- 5 wren 19.4 h
/leaderboard and /stats in Discord.A leaderboard in Discord
/leaderboard shares a ranking by messages, voice hours or voice sessions, over any window up to 365 days or all time.
Roles for the hours
A role reward grants a role once a member passes a threshold on any of 15 metrics, voice hours and days active among them. Rewards are checked on a schedule, every 10 minutes at the fastest.
Counts, not conversations
Analytics records that a message was sent, never what it said.
A safe front door
Class servers get shared in group chats, so the front door matters. Welcome sorts new members into their courses and Sentinel deals with the accounts that should not be there.
YourBotAppCourse roles members pick
Role menus post as buttons or a dropdown, single or multiple choice, with up to 25 roles each.
Rules above a Verify button
Members read your rules and click Verify to get the role you choose.
A role on join
Give every new member a role straight away or after a delay of up to 10 minutes.

What is the best Discord bot for a study server?
YourBot covers the jobs a study server has from one bot: study rooms that open on demand, sessions with signups and reminders, a ticket help desk, a voice hours leaderboard and moderation. Each one is a service you switch on per server, and all of them run on the Free plan.
How do I make study rooms without cluttering the channel list?
Use Voice Channels. Members join a lobby and each gets a room of their own that deletes itself when the last person leaves, so the list only grows while people are studying. The owner can lock the room, hide it or cap it at any size up to 99.
Can I schedule study sessions and remind people?
Yes. Beacon Events posts a session with signup buttons. Cap it and later signups wait on a waitlist, moving up when someone clicks Leave. A reminder goes to the channel or by DM, 30 minutes before the start unless you choose another time, and times show in each member's own time zone. Sessions can repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
Does it track time spent in study voice channels?
Yes. Analytics records every voice session from join to leave, so voice hours add up per member and per channel. /leaderboard ranks members by voice hours, and a role reward can grant a role once someone passes a voice hours threshold you set. Rewards are checked on a schedule, every 10 minutes at the fastest, not instantly.
Does YourBot have a Pomodoro or study timer?
No. None of the ten services runs a Pomodoro timer, focus sessions or to-do lists. YourBot handles the structure around studying: rooms on demand, scheduled sessions with reminders, a help desk and a record of time spent in voice.
How do students get help without questions scrolling away?
They open a ticket from a panel. An intake form can collect the details first, and the conversation moves into a private channel or a private thread. Closing the ticket saves a transcript of up to 1,000 messages in the dashboard, which stays after the channel is gone.
Can members pick their own subject or class roles?
Yes. The Welcome service posts role menus as buttons or a dropdown, in single or multiple choice, with up to 25 roles per menu. It also gives new members a role on join and can put your rules above a Verify button.
How do I keep a public study server safe?
YourBot cannot verify anybody's age. Sentinel rules can act on new accounts when they join and block Discord invites, a phishing blocklist refreshes every six hours and join triage scores every arrival, quarantining or kicking the riskiest. Starter rules install in Testing by default so you can watch them first, while join triage acts from day one.
Is YourBot free for a study server?
Yes. All ten core services run on the Free plan with no feature held back and no card. Premium adds a custom bot with your own name and avatar, marketplace plugins and 50 free Start Your Server designs, billed monthly or yearly.
