What the bot needs

Voice Channels is granted these permissions by the invite link. A command that finds one missing replies privately with what it could not do and changes nothing.

Behaviour

Makes a hidden room visible again. Same checks as /voice hide: the service is on, you are inside one of its rooms and you own it (or you hold Manage Channels or Administrator on the server).

In Discord, the bot sets the @everyone View Channel permission to a baseline. It works the baseline out when you run the command, not from how the room was made. It uses the category the room is in now and the server's current choice on the New rooms page, "Who can see and join new rooms". When that choice is everyone who can see the category, the baseline is whatever the room's category sets for @everyone. A room with no category gets no explicit value. When it is only the roles you pick, @everyone stays denied, so the room shows again only to roles and members with their own allow on it. Roles that the hide changed are allowed View Channel again; other roles are left alone.

You see a private reply: "👁 Room visible again." The panel updates and its Show button becomes Hide.

Good to know

  • Show does not unlock. If the room is also locked, run /voice unlock as well.
  • Permits and rejects stay as they are.
