Remembers how your future rooms on this server should start. It works anywhere in the server; you do not need to be in a room. Every option is optional: name (1 to 90 characters), limit (0 to 99, 0 for no limit), locked, hidden and clear.
Run it with no options to see what is saved, one line each: "Name: {v}", "Limit: {v}", "Locked at start: {v}", "Hidden at start: {v}" and "Remembered permits/rejects: {n}". Name and limit read "server default" when you have not set them. The two start lines read "yes" or "no"; a line you never set also reads "no", and the lobby then decides.
Give it one or more options and they are saved; options you leave out keep their previous value. The reply is "Saved. Your next room starts that way." Run it with clear:True to forget everything, including your remembered permits and rejects: "Forgotten. Your next room starts with the server defaults." Other options given together with clear:True are ignored.
Your preferences apply to the next room a lobby makes for you. A saved name replaces the name the room would get. That name is set on the New rooms page, "Room name", unless the lobby has its own on the Lobbies page, "A lobby's short name and what its rooms are called". A saved limit replaces the limit the room would start with. That limit is set on the New rooms page, "How many people a room holds and how it sounds", unless the lobby sets its own. A saved 0 means no limit even when the lobby has one. Saved locked and hidden values also win, in both directions, over how the lobby starts its rooms. That is set on the New rooms page, "Rooms start locked or hidden", unless the lobby sets its own on the Lobbies page, "How a lobby's rooms start". So locked:False opts you out of a lobby that starts rooms locked.
Good to know
- Nothing changes in the room you are in right now. Use /voice rename, /voice limit, /voice lock and /voice hide for that.
- There is no way to remove only the name or only the limit: leaving an option empty keeps it, so use clear:True and set the rest again.
- Preferences are kept per server.
