Disconnects someone from your room. The member option is the person to remove. Same checks as the other owner commands: the service is on, you are inside one of its rooms and you own it (or you hold Manage Channels or Administrator on the server).
The bot moves the member out of voice. You see a private reply: "👢 {name} was removed from the room." Nothing about the room's permissions changes, so the kick does not keep them out. Use /voice reject for that.
Cases the bot refuses:
- The room's owner: "Pick a member other than the owner."
- Someone who is not in this room: "{name} is not in this room."
- Unless you hold Manage Channels or Administrator on the server: a member with Manage Channels or Administrator gets "That member is server staff. Only a server manager can do that.", and a member whose top role is above yours gets "That member is ranked above you."
Good to know
- The panel's Kick button opens a member picker ("Who should leave?") on the /voice info panel and on the panel's copy in the room's chat. In the panel sent to your DMs it shows a list of the people in your room instead. When nobody else is there it answers "Nobody else is in your room."
- When the server gives owners Discord's own channel menu (on the Room owners page, "Owners can also use Discord's own channel menu"), the owner's own entry on the room also allows Discord's Move Members, when the bot holds that permission itself.
