When a design switches a service on, its settings appear under Features in the Roles tab of the layout panel and can be changed before you build. The builder writes them through the same checks as the dashboard form, so it cannot set a value the form would refuse. Services with their own editors, such as automod rules and ticket panels, are set up after the build from their dashboard pages.
