Review before you build

Click anything

Click a channel to see it the way your members will: who can see it and who can post, its topic and what YourBot posts there, such as a starter message, the welcome, a role menu or a ticket panel. Access rules lists the exact permissions behind the one-line summary.

A design can also post a starter message into a channel you already have. It shows in that channel with the note posted when you build, and you can change it or clear it first.

See it as a member

Use the See it as picker to preview the server through any role's eyes. It shows how many channels that member can see and marks the ones they can read but not post in. This is the fastest way to catch a layout where new members would see nothing.

The safety check

Every design gets a free Safety check, shown as a chip above the channel list. It flags risky setups like a server that looks empty to newcomers, hidden channels nobody can reach, a missing moderator role or missing rules and welcome channels.

  • Fix it for me makes the change on the spot, at no cost.
  • Pick it now opens the feature whose channel or role is still missing.
  • Ask YourBot to fix it writes the request into the message box for you.

Change things by hand

Everything in a design can be changed without the AI. It is free and takes effect at once.

  • Edit channel opens a channel's name, topic, starter post, slow mode and section. It also asks the two questions that matter most: who can see it and who can post in it.
  • Click a section's name for its settings and the + beside it to add a channel there. Add a section and Add a role sit at the end of their lists.
  • Click a role to pick its color and what it can do. A role made by a design can hold the permissions on that list. Anything stronger is set in Discord itself.
  • Leave it out of the build takes an item out of the design. That never deletes anything from your server.

On a design that keeps your channels, your own channels keep their name, topic and place. You can still change who sees them and who posts in them.

Features and add-ons

YourBot setup, at the top of the channel list, lists every feature the design switches on with one sentence about what it does on your server. Click one to see and change its settings before you build. The role menus, feeds, ticket panels and rank roles a design carries are listed under it, and More you can switch on lets you add a feature the design does not use yet. The builder may also suggest marketplace add-ons that fit your community and plugin ideas you could build yourself.
