Beacon Events is granted these permissions by the invite link. A command that finds one missing replies privately with what it could not do and changes nothing.

/beacon list shows the server's open events, soonest first, up to 10 of them. The reply is a private embed titled "📅 Upcoming Events" that only you can see.

Each entry shows the event number and title, the start time with a countdown, and how many members are confirmed, for example "👥 8/20 attending" when the event has a participant cap. A category set from the dashboard adds an emoji in front of the title: ⚔️ raid, 🏰 dungeon, 🗡️ pvp, 🎉 social.

Before answering, the bot applies your Command Access rules and checks that Events is switched on ("Beacon is not enabled."). When there are no open events it replies "No upcoming events! Use /beacon create to schedule one."

Good to know

  • The event number shown here is the event_id that /beacon cancel, /beacon clone, /beacon close, /beacon open and /beacon export ask for.
  • Closed, cancelled and completed events are not listed. The Beacon Events page on the dashboard shows recent completed events too.
  • The count is confirmed attendees only. Tentative and late sign-ups and the waitlist appear on the event card, not here.
