Lets you choose whether this server's ticket updates reach you by direct message. The choice applies to you in this server only and stays until you change it.
The bot first applies the server's Command Access rules for /ticket dms and checks that Tickets is enabled ("❌ Tickets is not enabled for this server."). The mode option is on or off. You can run it in any channel of the server; it does not need a ticket channel.
With off, the bot replies privately: "Ticket DMs from this server are off. You will still see every update inside your ticket." With on: "Ticket DMs from this server are on." Ticket DMs are on until you turn them off.
The switch covers every ticket DM this server sends you: the notice when your ticket opens, the notice when a staff member claims it, the notice when staff reply and the ticket is waiting on you, the rating request after a close, and the transcript DM. Whether the first three exist at all depends on the server: the Settings page section "Member notifications" turns each of them on ("When their ticket opens", "When a staff member claims it", "When staff reply and the ticket is waiting on them"), and the transcript DM has its own switch, "DM the transcript to the member when their ticket closes".
Good to know
- Turning DMs off never hides anything inside the ticket channel itself.
- The setting is per server. Turning DMs off here does not affect other servers that use YourBot tickets.
