Gives another member access to the current ticket.
The bot first applies the server's Command Access rules for /ticket add and checks that Tickets is enabled ("❌ Tickets is not enabled for this server."). The command only works inside a ticket channel or thread ("No ticket found in this channel."). Only staff may add people: Manage Server, the ticket's staff team, or a role given access when the ticket opened. Others see "Only staff can add users."
In a text channel the member gets permission to read and send messages there. In a thread the member is added to the thread. If the bot lacks the permission to change the channel, you get a private "⚠️ Missing permission to modify channel." and nothing is recorded. On success the bot posts "➕ @member has been added to this ticket." for everyone, and the addition is recorded in the ticket's "Activity log".
Good to know
- /ticket remove reverses it.
- Adding someone does not make them staff. They cannot claim or close the ticket unless they already count as staff through Manage Server, the ticket's team or an access role.
