Run setup

/group setup provisions the listing channel, forum, permissions and templates in one go.

/group create, /group quick raid, or the web form with a live preview. Title, game, party size, expiry, region, platform, voice, join mode, language, difficulty, visibility and an optional start time.

People join

Listings

A listing is a Discord message that keeps itself up to date.

Everything a group needs. Title, game, description, party size from 2 to 40, expiry, region, platform, voice required, open or approval join mode, language, difficulty, visibility, and a start time up to 14 days out.

Quick create from presets. /group quick with mythic+, raid, arena, dungeon or pvp fills sensible defaults, and arena detects 2v2 and 3v3 brackets.

Templates and activity presets. Reusable listing cards with named role slots, emoji and per-role capacity, plus per-game presets that feed the web form.

Edit, bump, relist, close. Change the title, description or size, bump once an hour, relist a closed run as a fresh copy, or close it. Admins can force-close anything.

Forum threads. Optionally every listing opens its own forum thread for coordination, locked when the group closes.

Expiry that cleans up. Overdue listings are closed every 30 seconds, which refreshes the message, locks the thread, deletes the voice channel and archives the chat.

Joining

Seats are counted properly, and leaders can vet who gets one.

One click or a role pick. Join and Leave buttons, or a select menu of role slots when the template defines them. Members can switch slots.

Capacity that holds. Joins are checked under a database lock, so two people cannot take the last seat at once.

Waitlists. A full listing takes a waitlist, and the first person on it is promoted when someone leaves.

Approval mode. Leaders can require applications with an optional 200 character note, and approve or deny from Discord or the dashboard. A server setting can require approval everywhere.

Removed means removed. A member kicked from a group cannot rejoin or reapply. Someone who left on their own can.

Watch a listing. Get DM updates on a group you are not in.

Finding groups

Browse, subscribe, or let the bot find you.

Browse with filters. Game, activity, region and platform, sorted by newest, expiring soon or closest to full, eight per page.

A For You sort on the web. The dashboard boosts listings for games you have joined before, and can hide full groups.

Alert subscriptions. Filtered alerts for new listings by DM, to a server alert channel, or as an hourly digest, with quiet hours and a cap of 5 per hour.

Game pings. Off by default. When on, a new listing DMs people who ran that game in the last 14 days, or who are playing it now if the bot can see presence, up to 25 per listing and once per member per game every 8 hours, each with a Stop these pings button.

A role ping. Optionally ping a role on every new listing, at most once every 10 minutes.

Scheduling

For the runs that happen at a time, not right now.

Start times and reminders. Set a start time on creation and members get a reminder about 15 minutes before.

Time polls. Propose 2 to 5 start times, members vote with buttons, and the winner becomes the listing's start time.

Repeating runs. Daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly, up to 52 runs or an end date. The next run is posted 72 hours ahead, and missed cadences are skipped rather than backfilled.

Calendar links. Every scheduled listing carries an ICS download and a Google Calendar link.

During and after

Getting the group in, and remembering how it went.

Ready checks. The leader posts a tally and members click Ready or Not Ready, tracked for five minutes.

Auto voice. When a voice-required listing fills, the bot creates a voice channel sized to the party under the listing channel's category, and removes it when the group is done.

Done and rated. Marking a group done credits everyone's completion count and DMs each member a thumbs up or down for the leader. The score shows after 3 votes, and only totals are ever shown.

No-shows and reinvites. Leaders can flag a no-show, and /group reinvite DMs recent teammates about a new run.

History. Groups created, joined and completed, completion rate, average size and reputation, on each member's History page.

Sharing across servers

The part no other LFG bot does. Opt-in at every step.

Networks. Create a network and share its ID, or join one, with separate switches for sending your listings out and receiving others' in.

Live copies. A network listing appears as a working listing on every peer server, posted by that server's own bot. Joins, leaves and completion update every copy.

A public board. With Allow Cross-Post on, a public listing also appears on the no-login board at /lfg, where visitors can request to join and the leader accepts from the dashboard.

Your own public page and widget. Every server gets a public LFG page and an embeddable widget for your website that refreshes every 60 seconds.

A chat room per group. Network and public listings get a live web chat with markdown, mentions, reactions, pins, edits within 5 minutes and its own ready check. It goes read-only 24 hours after the listing closes.

Moderation

Reports, suspensions and filters that run before a listing posts.

Reports. Members report a listing or leader, and staff resolve reports as dismissed, listing removed or user suspended.

Suspensions. Stop a member posting for 1 to 720 hours with a reason. Suspensions are per server.

Filters before posting. A keyword blocklist of up to 50 terms, a minimum account age, a cap on active listings per member, and a cooldown between posts.

Runs on its own

A 30-second loop. Expires overdue listings, purges archived chats, re-renders live listings after a template edit, sends start reminders, posts the next repeating run, and flushes alert digests.

Fan-out on post. Game pings and network copies are sent the moment a listing is created or relisted.

Rate limits built in. One role ping per 10 minutes, 5 alerts per member per hour, and 15 network broadcasts per minute per server.

Safety and permissions

Local by default. A listing stays in your server unless the creator chooses network or public, and public also needs the server's Allow Cross-Post switch.

Peers cannot reach in. A button on a copied listing re-checks that the listing is still shared with that server before acting.

Anonymous ratings. Only totals are ever shown, never who voted.

No smuggled pings. Report notices never mention roles or everyone, whatever a listing title contains.

Chat is checked live. A kicked member's chat connection is closed on the next roster update, and every chat action is scoped to its own listing.

Public visitors cannot join. They can only request, and the leader decides.

Your command rules apply. Every command and every button passes your per-command role, channel and cooldown rules.

What it does not do

Worth knowing before you set it up. If one of these matters to you, the marketplace may have a plugin that covers it.

No matchmaking or skill rating. Reputation is a thumbs-up percentage.
No account linking for PSN, Xbox or Steam, and no game invites.
Suspensions do not follow a member across a network.
The auto voice channel is a plain Discord channel, not a join-to-create room.
No email or push alerts. Alerts are DMs, a channel, or a DM digest.
The For You sort is web only.

Can members from other servers join my group?

Only if you share the listing. Network listings are joinable from every server in the network. Public listings can be requested from the public board, and the leader accepts or denies.

Does a listing post to other servers automatically?

No. Local is the default. The creator picks network or public per listing, and public also needs your Allow Cross-Post setting.

What happens when the group is full?

The listing shows full, new joiners go on the waitlist if it is enabled, and if the run requires voice the bot creates a voice channel sized to the party.
