Hides the room from everyone you have not permitted. Same checks as the other owner commands: the service is on, you are inside a Join-to-Create room, and you own it (or you hold Manage Channels or Administrator on the server).
In Discord, the bot denies View Channel for @everyone on the room, then denies it on every role that had its own View Channel allow on the room, except roles you have permitted. The room records which roles it changed so /voice show restores exactly those. You keep seeing the room through your owner permissions, the bot keeps its own access, and members or roles you permitted keep both View Channel and Connect.
You see a private reply: "👻 Room hidden from everyone but the people you permit." Your panel shows the room as hidden and its Hide button becomes Show.
Good to know
- Hide and lock are separate switches. Hide changes View Channel only; it does not touch Connect. A room can be both hidden and locked.
- Use /voice permit before or after hiding to let specific friends see and join it.
- A room can start hidden: a lobby's Start hidden setting, or your own /voice prefs hidden:True.
- On the dashboard's Live Channels list a hidden room carries a "hidden" badge.
