How we checked How we checked these facts: everything this page says about Raid Organizer comes from Raid Organizer's own public pages, not hands-on testing. We compare stable structural facts only and leave anything we could not verify blank. Last verified 2026-10-12.

Raid Organizer calls itself a free Discord bot for dungeon runs, raids, LFG groups and guild events. In an LFG channel every member with the user role can post and manage their own groups with /event create, while the organizer role moderates them all, closing or removing any group. Members sign up by reacting with the template's emojis. Sign-up templates set your own emojis, role names, sub groups and limits for the whole group, each role and each member, and event templates fill in runs your members post again and again. A group can start now, at a set time or after a relative time such as 1d 3h. Reminders go out before the start, a thread can open for each event and an @here ping can announce a new group. Repeating events run every 7 days by default, and other intervals need Premium, as does a voice channel made before the start. Premium can be unlocked by voting for the bot, a one-time payment or a Patreon membership.

YourBot is one bot whose features are services. Ten are built in and run free on every server, and Group Finder is the one that covers Raid Organizer's LFG ground. The other nine include Sentinel moderation, Beacon Events and Voice Channels. Premium, billed per server, adds a bot under your own name, the open marketplace and the Plugin Builder.

The short version

  • Pick Raid Organizer if you want sign-up templates with sub groups and limits for every role and member, and Premium you can unlock by voting.
  • Pick YourBot if you want daily, every-two-weeks or monthly repeats and a voice channel for the group without a paid plan, with moderation, tickets and the other services in the same bot.
  • If you run both for a while, post each group in only one of them, so nobody signs up twice.

Posting and joining

Raid Organizer posts a group with /event create, and members sign up by reacting with the template's emojis. Group Finder posts with /group create, a quick start such as raid or dungeon, or New group on the dashboard with a live preview, and members join with Join and Leave buttons or a menu of roles, in Discord or on the group's own web page. A full group takes a waiting list, and the first person on it moves up when someone leaves. A leader can let people in by hand, and members can watch a group they are not in.

Running a group

Raid Organizer sends reminders before the start, opens a thread for each event and, on Premium, makes a voice channel before it begins; repeats every 7 days are free, other intervals Premium. Group Finder sends a reminder about 15 minutes before the start, can open a forum thread for every group and makes a voice channel sized to a group that needs voice once it fills. Runs repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly, up to 52, and time polls let members vote on a start time. A ready check, calendar links and a live web chat for each group come with it, and a finished group asks its members to rate the leader.

Reaching more players

Raid Organizer can ping @here when a new group is posted in an LFG channel. Group Finder can ping a role on every new group, and members set their own alerts by DM, in a channel or as an hourly digest. A leader can also share a group with partner servers, which show a working copy of it, or put it on YourBot's public all-servers board, where anyone signed in can ask to join.

Switching

Run /group setup to make the channel, the forum and starter templates, then rebuild your sign-up templates as Group Finder templates with named roles, emoji and a cap per role. Let Raid Organizer's open groups end before members post new ones. Pricing has the current terms, and the LFG bots table sets Group Finder beside Raid Organizer, Açaí and LFG Tool.
