How we checked How we checked these facts: everything this page says about Açaí comes from Açaí's own public pages, not hands-on testing. We compare stable structural facts only and leave anything we could not verify blank. Last verified 2026-10-12.

Açaí builds team cards for raids, dungeons and other groups. /create opens a form, or /create-manually takes the details as options, and members join by reacting to the card. Extra members go to a waiting list, and the card shows reserves and who dropped out. A group can be for right now, starting as soon as the team fills, or for a future date, and members get a reminder before it starts. An existing voice channel can be named for the event, and its example cards show role slots such as Tank, Healer and DPS. Templates can be your own, imported or taken from a public library of official and community templates, and a message lets members pick up notification roles. Moderators can add members, including names from outside Discord, remove them, clone events and restrict users.

YourBot is one bot whose features are services. Ten are built in and run free on every server, and Group Finder is the one that covers Açaí's ground. The other nine include Sentinel moderation, Beacon Events and Voice Channels. Premium, billed per server, adds a bot under your own name, the open marketplace and the Plugin Builder.

The short version

  • Pick Açaí if you want team cards with reserves and a list of who dropped out, a library of community templates or names from outside Discord on a card.
  • Pick YourBot if you want joining by button or role menu instead of reactions, with moderation, tickets and the other services in the same bot.
  • If you run both for a while, post each group in only one of them, so nobody signs up twice.

Posting and joining

Açaí posts a group from a form, and members react to its card to join or remove the reaction to leave. Group Finder posts with /group create, a quick start such as raid or dungeon, or New group on the dashboard with a live preview. Members join with Join and Leave buttons or a menu of roles, in Discord or on the group's own web page, and can switch roles. Both put extra members on a waiting list; in Group Finder the first person on it moves up when someone leaves, and a leader can let people in by hand.

Running a group

Açaí sends a reminder before the start and can name the voice channel the group will use. Group Finder sends a reminder about 15 minutes before the start and makes a voice channel sized to a group that needs voice once it fills. Runs can repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly, time polls let members vote on a start time, and each group can have a forum thread, calendar links and a live web chat. A finished group asks its members to rate the leader.

Templates, alerts and sharing

Açaí keeps your templates, imports shared ones and offers a public library, and members can pick up notification roles. Group Finder's templates hold named roles with emoji, a cap per role and your look, beside quick starts. Members set their own alerts for new groups by DM, in a channel or as an hourly digest. A leader can share a group with partner servers, which show a working copy of it, or put it on YourBot's public all-servers board.

Switching

Run /group setup to make the channel, the forum and starter templates, then rebuild your Açaí templates as Group Finder templates with named roles and a cap per role. Let Açaí's open groups end before members post new ones. Pricing has the current terms, and the LFG bots table sets Group Finder beside Raid Organizer, Açaí and LFG Tool.

Frequently asked questions

Can members join a YourBot group without reacting?

Yes. Groups have Join and Leave buttons, or a menu of roles when the group has roles, in Discord and on the group's own web page. Members can switch roles there too.

Does YourBot's Group Finder have a waiting list?

Yes. A full group takes a waiting list, and the first person on it moves up when someone leaves. A leader can also let people in by hand.

Can a YourBot group reach players on other servers?

Yes, if its leader shares it. Partner servers in a network show a working copy of the group, and a group on YourBot's public board can be found by anyone signed in, who can ask to join. Groups stay in your server by default.
