YourBot v0.0.32
Added
- Design your site. The Plugin Builder can now write a custom web front end for your plugin that looks and feels the way you describe it, like your own website. Tell it the pages you want, who each one is for, the mood, an accent color and a type style. Add up to four images and it designs the pages to match
- Sites are built for phones first, keep working in light and dark mode and can use Google Fonts. Images are converted and hosted by YourBot so pages load fast
- The preview shows your site page by page, at desktop or phone width, filled with sample data, before you create the plugin
- Every finished build now runs once in the plugin sandbox before you see it. Commands, buttons, events, schedules and dashboard handlers are each tried once, and a crash or an error shows up next to the validator findings with the file and line
- When a build fails a check, the builder makes one short repair pass on its own before showing you the preview. It is charged against the same hold, and the repaired version is kept only when it has fewer problems
- Run it on my server. One click on the preview creates the plugin and keeps it private, with no marketplace listing and no review. It then installs it on the server you pick with the permissions you approve
- The plan asks you the open questions it has, and your answers shape the build instead of the builder guessing
Changed
- The plan is checked before you approve it. A command name that belongs to a built-in YourBot feature is renamed. A permission the platform does not have is dropped. A schedule faster than five minutes is flagged. A build can no longer be rejected for those later
- The builder no longer adds a web dashboard unless you turned Plugin UI on
- The Plugin UI switch now offers two paths: a quick dashboard from platform widgets, or a custom site written to your brief
- The preview keeps the version and review details behind a details toggle so the next step is the obvious one
Fixed
- The preview showed a blocking error when a plugin used a permission it had not listed, and offered a paid fix, even though creating the plugin added that permission for free. The permission is now added before the preview
- A plugin whose schedule was written as a name instead of a time crashed the moment it started, and the validator did not catch it. It is now a blocking finding, and the sandbox run would catch it anyway
- Four of eight builds that did not ask for a dashboard shipped one. They no longer do
