A PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Discord should be organized around the matchmaking pool, party type, perspective, game mode, and the kind of team the player actually wants to form. PUBG has simple party sizes on the surface—Solo, Duo, and four-player Squad—but the surrounding live service is more complex. PC and console do not share one matchmaking pool, Ranked and Normal are not interchangeable, Rumble can impose its own crew rules, Custom Matches and Playgrounds can use different capacities, and map availability can vary by region and update.
The most common community mistake is to build one giant #lfg channel and assume every player can join every post. A Steam player and an Xbox player may both be looking for Squads, but they are not in the same platform pool. A TPP Normal player may not be looking for the same experience as an FPP Ranked player. A Duo Rumble crew is exactly two people and can be locked for the stage. The Discord needs to capture those facts before it worries about preferred weapons, drop style, or competitive experience.
This guide builds a fictional 252-member community called Last Circle Union. It supports PC and console players, casual Normal matches, Ranked squads, Duo/Squad practice, teaching sessions, community Custom Matches, Playgrounds nights, and PUBG esports watch/play events. Its associated in-game Clan has 78 members, but Discord membership and Clan membership remain separate. YourBot handles the Discord-side structure, onboarding, moderation, tickets, group matching, events, temporary voice, announcements, official feeds, analytics, and giveaways. PUBG remains authoritative for matchmaking, Clan membership, Ranked eligibility, region, stats, inventory, rewards, Custom Match access, bans, and game enforcement.
Start With the Right PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Community Model
PC and console are different matchmaking pools
PUBG matchmaking distinguishes PC and console.
On PC, Steam and Epic Games Store players share the PC matchmaking environment. On console, Xbox and PlayStation players can cross-play with one another. That does not mean PC and console players can form one mixed squad.
As of September 25, 2026, PUBG Console is supported on:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X
- Xbox Series S
Support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ended in November 2025 when PUBG Console moved to current-generation hardware.
A useful Discord therefore has a simple PC versus Console compatibility field. Do not create separate PlayStation and Xbox communities unless members actually need platform-specific support or intentionally restrict cross-platform console play.
Solo, Duo, and Squad are party types—not generic “group size”
PUBG's core gameplay modes are built around:
- Solo: 1 player
- Duo: 2 players
- Squad: up to 4 players
A squad does not become five people because a Discord bot has a five-person starter template. A playing coach, mentor, or shot-caller occupies one of the real team seats if they are in the match.
Likewise, a 20-person Discord event does not mean one 20-player PUBG squad. It means the event is intentionally creating multiple Duos/Squads or a Custom Match with its own supported configuration.
Perspective and queue matter
PUBG communities often care about:
- TPP versus FPP
- Normal versus Ranked
- Solo / Duo / Squad
- region
- map preference
- competitive versus relaxed play
- microphone expectations
The exact queue availability can vary by region and live-service decisions. Do not make permanent promises such as FPP Duo exists everywhere or this Ranked queue is always available. Use templates that capture the desired mode and let current PUBG matchmaking remain the authority.
Ranked, Rumble, Custom Matches, and Playgrounds are distinct workflows
PUBG now has more than a single Battle Royale lobby experience.
Ranked uses its own season and progression system. Season 43 is current as of Update 43.1.
Rumble is a competitive mode/event with rules that can change by iteration. The current September 2026 PC Duo Rumble requires a pre-made two-player crew, runs in selected regions, and locks the crew composition during a stage.
Custom Match is useful for community events and supports configurable player/team structures depending on the preset and mode.
PUBG: Playgrounds is the newer community-created mode browser. A mode can define its own maximum players, maximum team size, perspective, tags, and rules.
Do not try to force all of those into one Squad = 4 event template.
Clan and Discord membership are separate
PUBG Clans can hold up to 100 members. Clan roles include the Clan Master, Managers, and general members.
Last Circle Union's Discord has 252 people while its in-game Clan has 78. That allows the server to include:
- applicants
- friends
- casual members
- competitive players
- event guests
- creators
- Clan members
- former members
A Discord Clan Member role does not add the PUBG account to the Clan. A Discord Clan Manager role does not grant in-game Clan permissions.
Current live state: Update 43.1 and Season 43
As of September 25, 2026, Update 43.1 is the current major update.
Current items relevant to community operations include:
- Ranked Season 43
- the integrated Career Leaderboard system
- the PUBG x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration
- current regional map service
- PC Duo Rumble running from September 12 through October 14 in AS, EU, and NA
- continued anti-cheat/bans activity on PC and console
Treat collaboration events, Rumble windows, map rotations, and store/event dates as temporary. Do not make permanent channels for them.
The Community We Will Build
Last Circle Union is a 252-member PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Discord.
- 78 members are in the associated in-game Clan.
- Community supports both PC and console, but LFG keeps those pools separate.
- Primary regions: Americas and Europe, with opt-in Asia/Oceania roles if participation grows.
- Mix: casual Normal players, Ranked players, new-player mentors, Duo partners, full Squads, Custom Match hosts, Playgrounds/UGC players, and esports fans.
- Recurring activities: Squad nights, Ranked sessions, Duo nights, teaching drops, recoil/rotation practice, Custom Matches, Playgrounds community modes, and watch parties.
- Discord roles never claim to alter PUBG Ranked tier, Clan role, Plus status, match history, inventory, or anti-cheat state.
YourBot's role in the community
| Service | Community use |
|---|---|
| Welcome | Verify newcomers and collect PC/Console, region, perspective, mode, and activity interests. |
| Sentinel | Reduce phishing, cheat sellers, malicious downloads, impersonation, spam, harassment, and raids. |
| Tickets | Route Clan applications, member reports, tournament/event requests, coaching requests, and Discord issues privately. |
| Group Finder | Match compatible Solo partners for practice, Duos, four-player Squads, Ranked groups, and event crews. |
| Beacon Events | Schedule Squad nights, Custom Matches, Rumble sessions, tournaments, Playgrounds nights, and watch parties. |
| Join-to-Create Voice | Create temporary Duo/Squad rooms with correct limits and larger staging rooms for events. |
| Announcements | Publish weekly plans, maintenance, Ranked/season notices, temporary event dates, and community rules. |
| Social Feeds | Follow PUBG publisher updates through a manually configured Steam source. |
| Analytics | Measure Discord onboarding, LFG usage, event attendance, temporary voice activity, and channel health. |
| Giveaways | Run Discord-side drawings without implying YourBot grants G-Coin, skins, items, Plus, or in-game rewards. |
1. Create the Foundation With Start Your Server
PUBG changes monthly. Build around permanent workflows, not every current map, collaboration, weapon, or event.
Avoid channels such as #erangel-lfg, #miramar-lfg, #rondo-lfg, and #jjk-event unless the server has enough traffic to justify them. Use structured LFG fields, forum tags, and dated threads.
Copy-ready community brief
Design a PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Discord server called Last Circle Union.
Community:
- About 250 Discord members.
- Associated in-game PUBG Clan has about 80 members.
- Mix of casual Normal Match players, Ranked players, newcomers, competitive players, Custom Match hosts, Playgrounds users, and esports fans.
- Main regions are Americas and Europe.
Compatibility:
- PC and Console are separate matchmaking pools.
- PC includes Steam/Epic cross-platform matchmaking.
- Console includes PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S cross-platform matchmaking.
- Do not mix PC and Console in one LFG roster.
- Core party sizes:
Solo = 1
Duo = 2
Squad = 4
- A playing mentor/coach counts inside the real party size.
- TPP/FPP, Normal/Ranked, region, and party type should be visible on every serious LFG.
- Queue and map availability can vary by region/update; do not hard-code unsupported promises.
- Custom Match and Playgrounds modes can use their own player/team capacities.
Roles:
Owner, Administrator, Moderator, Event Host, Clan Manager, Competitive Captain, Mentor, Member, New Survivor.
Optional self-select roles:
PC, Console
Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania
TPP, FPP
Normal, Ranked, Rumble, Custom Matches, Playgrounds
Casual, Competitive, New Player
Duo, Squad
Esports
Trusted, staff, Clan Manager, Competitive Captain, and Mentor roles must not be self-selectable unless explicitly intended.
Channels:
START HERE: welcome, rules, choose-roles, announcements
LOBBY: general, questions, clips-and-screenshots, loadouts-and-settings
TEAM UP: lfg-listings, lfg-forum, events
COMPETITIVE: ranked-discussion, scrims-and-customs

LEARNING: new-player-help, tactics-and-rotations
UPDATES: pubg-updates
HELP: open-a-ticket
VOICE: join-duo, join-squad, event-staging
STAFF: staff-chat, sentinel-logs, ticket-log
Safety:
- Never request Steam/Epic/Xbox/PlayStation passwords, 2FA codes, recovery codes, session tokens, payment data, or remote-control access.
- Treat cheat sellers, unauthorized input-device promotion, malware, phishing, fake login pages, and account-selling as security/moderation risks.
- Discord moderation is not KRAFTON/PUBG enforcement.
- Discord roles do not change Ranked tier, Clan role, Plus status, inventory, or account state.
- Do not use Discord activity as a gameplay-skill ranking.
Configure all ten built-in services:
Welcome; Sentinel; Tickets; Group Finder; Beacon Events; Join-to-Create Voice; Announcements; Social Feeds; Analytics; Giveaways.
PUBG-specific service setup:
- PUBG is not in the currently inspected Group Finder automatic game-detection list.
- Create explicit Duo (2) and Squad (4) templates manually.
- Do not use the generic 5-person Quick Group for PUBG.
- PUBG is not in the currently inspected curated Social Feeds catalog.
- Use the generic Steam source with App ID 578080 for PUBG publisher announcements.
- Announcements schedules and Social Feed subscriptions require manual finishing steps.
- Keep deletions off during the first build.
- Preserve current structure.
- Preview New Survivor, Member, Clan Member, Competitive Captain, and Moderator perspectives before applying.

Review before applying
Use the Channels, Roles, and Services review views. Preview the Discord as:
- New Survivor
- ordinary Member
- Clan Member
- Competitive Captain
- Moderator
Confirm a new member can see onboarding and public LFG but cannot see staff areas. Confirm Clan and competitive roles expose only Discord content and are not described as in-game authorization.
Keep deletion disabled during the first build. Read the build report for skipped channels, permission mismatches, or incomplete service setup.
Announcements schedules and Social Feed subscriptions require manual finishing steps.
2. Welcome: Match Platform Pool Before Playstyle
Welcome should answer the most important compatibility question first:
PC or Console?
Then collect only the interests that help someone navigate the server.
Useful roles:
- PC
- Console
- Americas
- Europe
- Asia
- Oceania
- TPP
- FPP
- Normal
- Ranked
- Duo
- Squad
- Custom Matches
- Playgrounds
- New Player
- Competitive
- Esports
Do not force members to choose one perspective forever. Many people play both TPP and FPP.
Do not make Clan Manager, Competitive Captain, Moderator, or Mentor self-selectable.
A short greeting:
Welcome to Last Circle Union. Choose PC or Console first, then your region, perspective, and modes. PC and console are separate matchmaking pools; Xbox and PlayStation can cross-play within the console pool. Use Group Finder for actual Duo/Squad sessions. Never share passwords, 2FA/recovery codes, or account access here.
Test: Join from a test account, select PC, Americas, FPP, and Ranked, and verify the account gets only those intended roles and cannot see staff channels.
3. Sentinel: Focus on Cheats, Phishing, and Community Abuse
PUBG has a long-running anti-cheat program, and in 2026 KRAFTON strengthened permanent-ban policy on console for abnormal input devices and cheating.
Sentinel should focus on Discord behavior such as:
- cheat sellers
- links to unauthorized software
- abnormal-input-device promotion where the server prohibits it
- phishing and fake KRAFTON/platform login pages
- malicious executables
- account-selling
- impersonation of PUBG/KRAFTON or server staff
- spam
- mass mentions
- invite raids
- harassment
- doxxing
Do not claim Sentinel can detect whether a player is cheating inside a PUBG match. It can moderate what members post in Discord.
Use dry-run/log mode for aggressive URL or keyword rules. Legitimate community conversations may mention anti-cheat, recoil devices, or cheating while reporting a problem, so review context before automatically punishing every keyword match.
Discord moderation is not game enforcement.
Test: Use a staff-only harmless test phrase representing a cheat-ad pattern. Verify Sentinel records it and applies only the configured test action.
4. Tickets: Route Clan, Competitive, and Safety Requests Privately
Use a few clear intake paths.
Clan Application
- Discord display name
- PUBG ID
- PC or Console
- region
- preferred perspective
- Normal / Ranked / both
- usual party type
- usual play times
- communication preference
- acknowledgement that Discord acceptance does not join the in-game Clan
Member Report
- Discord user
- message link
- what happened
- screenshot if safe
- suspected phishing/cheat-selling/security issue? yes/no
Competitive / Event Request
- PC or Console
- region
- TPP/FPP
- Duo/Squad/Custom
- desired date/time
- expected participants
- rules/preset
- whether a Custom Match host is available
New Player Coaching
- platform pool
- region
- perspective
- what they want help with: looting / rotations / recoil / positioning / comms / Ranked preparation
Never ask for platform passwords, PUBG account secrets, 2FA/recovery codes, payment information, or remote-control access.
Closing a Clan Application does not invite the player to the in-game Clan. Resolving a Ranked question does not alter Ranked RP.
Test: Submit a Clan Application and Member Report from a test account; verify each reaches the correct private staff route without exposing it to ordinary members.
5. Group Finder: Use Two and Four, Not the Generic Five
Read-only inspection of YourBot's current develop revision shows PUBG is not in Group Finder's automatic game-detection list.
The generic setup still creates a Quick Group template with a default party size of five. Five is not a valid default for PUBG's core Duo/Squad structure.
Create the first template
Template Name: PUBG Squad
Game: PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS
Default Party Size: 4
Default Expiry: 90 minutes
Description: Standard four-player PUBG squad. Require PC/Console, region, Normal/Ranked, TPP/FPP, communication expectation, and playstyle.
Additional templates
| Template | Target size | Required context |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Duo | 2 | PC/Console, region, TPP/FPP, casual/serious, mic |
| Normal Squad | 4 | PC/Console, region, TPP/FPP, map preference if relevant, mic |
| Ranked Duo | 2 | PC/Console, region, perspective/queue availability, tier context |
| Ranked Squad | 4 | PC/Console, region, perspective, current tier/goal, comms |
| Duo Rumble | 2 | PC, supported region/stage, crew status, TPP, event window |
| Scrim / Custom Team | 4 by default | platform pool, ruleset, perspective, roster status |
| Playgrounds Team | mode-specific | exact community mode, max team size, perspective, rules |
The Playgrounds template should not default to four if the selected player-created mode says otherwise. Use the mode's published maximum team size.
Example live listing
Title: FPP Ranked Squad — need 2
Game: PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS
Platform Pool: PC
Region: Americas
Mode: Ranked
Perspective: FPP
Target Size: 4
Current Players: 2/4
Goal: Climb / serious comms
Tier Context: Gold-Platinum range
Mic: Required
Playstyle: Controlled drops, rotate early, play for Top 4
Session: ~2 hours
Notes: Joining this Discord listing does not create the PUBG party. Leader sends the in-game invite after confirming platform pool and queue.
Do not put PC and Console members into the same listing.
For current Duo Rumble, the template should reflect that it is PC-only, region-limited, two-player, TPP, and time-limited. When that event ends or changes, archive/update the template rather than treating it as permanent PUBG structure.
Test: Fill a Squad listing to four. Confirm a fifth member goes to the waitlist rather than becoming a fake fifth teammate. Then create a Duo listing and verify it caps at two.
6. Beacon Events: Plan Multiple Teams or a Real Custom Match
Use Beacon when the community is scheduling something rather than spontaneously filling a party.
Good examples:
- Squad Night
- Ranked Night
- New Player Bootcamp
- Duo Rumble stage
- community tournament
- Custom Match
- Playgrounds mode night
- esports watch party
A 20-person Squad Night should be explicitly structured as five four-player squads.
Example:
Event: Friday Squad Night
Platform Pool: PC
Region: Americas
Date/Time: Friday 8:00 PM
Attendance Cap: 20
Structure: 5 Squads of 4
Perspective: FPP
Mode: Normal
Captains: 5
New Players: Welcome
Voice: One team room per Squad
Waitlist: Enabled
For Custom Matches, the event capacity should come from the selected custom preset/mode. PUBG Custom Match historically supports large lobbies, but presets and player-created modes can differ; do not copy one maximum into every event.
For a current Duo Rumble event, use two playing seats per crew. A playing coach cannot be a third crew member.
Beacon RSVP does not:
- form the in-game party
- create the Custom Match
- reserve a PUBG server slot
- grant BATTLEGROUNDS Plus
- register a crew for Rumble
- grant Ranked eligibility
- award G-Coin or event rewards
Test: Create an eight-person event split into two four-player squads, assign two captains, fill all seats, and verify the waitlist behaves correctly.
7. Join-to-Create Voice: Match the Actual Team Size
Create separate lobbies:
Join Duo
- default room limit: 2
- delete when empty
- creator ownership
- auto-transfer
Join Squad
- default room limit: 4
- delete when empty
- creator ownership
- auto-transfer
Event Staging
- larger limit
- used for briefings, tournament staging, watch parties, or assigning members into teams
A Competitive Squad room can remain four even if coaches or observers are listening elsewhere. Put non-playing coaching in a separate observation/staging room if the event needs it.
Do not create a permanent channel for every map.
Discord voice does not create a PUBG party or force the in-game voice settings.
Test: Fill a Squad voice room with four test users, verify a fifth cannot enter, transfer ownership, then have everyone leave and confirm the room deletes.
8. Announcements: Keep Seasons, Maps, and Temporary Events Dated
PUBG changes monthly, so announcements should include dates or update numbers.
Use Announcements for:
- weekly community schedule
- maintenance windows
- Ranked season changes
- map-service changes
- active Rumble window
- Custom Match/tournament rules
- temporary collaborations
- Clan notices
- anti-cheat/policy changes
- current-gen console notices
A current announcement could say:
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS — Update 43.1 Community Notes
LIVE NOW:
- Ranked Season 43.
- New integrated Career Leaderboards.
- PUBG x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration content.
- PC Duo Rumble runs Sep 12-Oct 14 in AS, EU, and NA.
LFG reminder:
- PC and Console are separate pools.
- Duo = 2.
- Squad = 4.
- Always state TPP/FPP and Normal/Ranked.
Use #pubg-updates for publisher news and #events for scheduled community sessions.
Do not leave a temporary Rumble or collaboration ping scheduled after its end date.
Avoid sending an Announcement and a Beacon ping for the same event unless the two messages serve different purposes.
Test: Schedule a staff-only announcement five minutes ahead with one opt-in role; confirm it posts once and does not ping unrelated members.
9. Social Feeds: Add PUBG Through the Generic Steam Source
Read-only inspection of YourBot's current Social Feeds catalog shows no curated PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS entry and no entry using Steam App ID 578080.
PUBG is available on Steam with App ID:
578080
Create the subscription manually:
Source: Steam
Steam App ID: 578080
Display Name: PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS
Destination: #pubg-updates
Ping Role: None by default
Digest: Off or hourly, depending on community preference
The inspected Steam adapter uses:
- public ISteamNews
- numeric App IDs
- publisher
steam_community_announcements - default polling interval: 900 seconds
That is useful because PUBG publisher posts currently include patch notes, weekly ban notices, event/collaboration notices, and other live-service information.
Do not claim the feed mirrors every PUBG.com article, support notice, esports post, maintenance emergency, or platform-specific alert.
If the community later identifies a verified PUBG RSS/YouTube source that better matches its needs, YourBot can support additional feed types. Verify the source instead of guessing.
Start Your Server can turn Social Feeds on, but the actual subscription remains a manual finishing step.
Test: Add App ID 578080, send a Social Feeds preview to #pubg-updates, verify formatting, and confirm there is no unwanted role ping.
10. Analytics: Measure the Discord, Not PUBG Skill
Analytics can answer:
- Do newcomers complete onboarding?
- Which platform pool has the most LFG demand?
- Do Duo or Squad templates fill more often?
- What event times work?
- Are Ranked discussions active?
- Are temporary voice rooms being used?
- Are learning channels helping retain newcomers?
- Which channels are dead clutter?
Analytics does not know, by default:
- Ranked tier/RP
- kills
- K/D
- damage
- win rate
- survival time
- weapon mastery
- medals
- match history
- Clan XP
- inventory
- skins
- G-Coin
- anti-cheat status
- ban status
PUBG itself now has current Career leaderboards for Ranked, Wins, Kills, and Clans. Do not replicate those with Discord message metrics.
Do not say the most active Discord chatter is the best PUBG player.
Test: Generate activity in one member channel, one Group Finder listing, and one temporary voice room. Confirm expected metrics appear while sensitive ticket/staff areas are excluded as intended.
11. Giveaways: Keep Discord Drawings Separate From PUBG Rewards
Use Giveaways for prizes the community can safely fulfill.
Examples:
- choose the next Custom Match theme
- choose the next map-focused community night
- temporary Discord cosmetic role
- community art
- legitimate platform/game code when staff understands its source and eligibility
Do not imply YourBot automatically grants:
- G-Coin
- skins
- Contraband Coupons
- Hunter's Chests
- Survivor Pass progress
- BATTLEGROUNDS Plus
- Ranked rewards
- Clan rewards
Never ask for a platform password, 2FA code, account login, payment detail, or session token to deliver a prize.
Test: Run a staff-only giveaway for Choose next community Custom Match, confirm winner/reroll behavior, then use the same flow for the first public low-risk giveaway.
Keep PC and Console Together Socially, Separate Them Operationally
Last Circle Union does not need two completely separate Discord servers.
PC and console players can:
- discuss strategy together
- share clips
- watch esports together
- compare patch notes
- discuss maps/weapons
- join community announcements
- participate in non-playing events
But Group Finder must treat PC and Console as a real compatibility field.
Current PUBG matchmaking documents Steam/Epic together on PC and Xbox/PlayStation together on console. Console support is now current-gen only: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
That is a good example of when a Discord role is useful without requiring a separate channel tree.
Treat Perspective and Queue as Session Context
Do not create permanent roles for every map or every current queue variation.
Perspective and mode change from session to session. A member can play:
- TPP Normal tonight
- FPP Ranked tomorrow
- Duo Rumble on Saturday
- a Custom Match next week
Put TPP/FPP and Normal/Ranked in the listing itself.
Permanent interest roles can still be useful for notifications, but do not make a member's profile too rigid.
Map selection also changes by region and live service. Update 43.1 links to a current Map Service Report, and 2026 has seen additional map-selection adjustments. Treat map preference as a listing/event field or discussion topic, not a permanent compatibility promise.
Use Clan Structure for Clan Work, Not the Whole Community
PUBG Clans currently support up to 100 members. The Clan can have a Clan Master, Managers, and general members.
Last Circle Union therefore keeps two different membership concepts:
- 252-person Discord community.
- 78-person in-game Clan.
Clan Member, Clan Manager, and Clan Master Discord roles are convenience/authorization roles for Discord. They do not automatically mirror in-game roles.
Clan applications should remain a Ticket workflow. If accepted, an authorized PUBG Clan officer still handles the in-game invite.
Do not give every Discord member access to Clan-only planning just because they play PUBG.
Separate Competitive Rosters From Casual LFG
Competitive players need more structure than need 1.
For Ranked/Scrim groups, the listing can include:
- platform pool
- region
- TPP/FPP
- current Ranked tier
- preferred role/responsibility
- comms requirement
- team goal
- session length
- whether roster changes are allowed
Do not turn those responsibilities into invented MMO classes. PUBG team roles are tactical and flexible—IGL, entry, support, scout, anchor, driver, etc.—and many players shift responsibilities during a match.
Current Duo Rumble is an example of why dated templates matter. It is specifically a pre-made two-person PC crew with regional/time rules and a limited service window. When the mode changes, change the template.
Add a Squad Readiness Board Only When You Need It
Last Circle Union can launch with the built-in services.
Group Finder handles today's team. Beacon handles scheduled events. Tickets handle applications/reports/coaching. Announcements handle current notices.
A custom project becomes useful when captains repeatedly ask:
Which members say they are ready for Ranked, what perspective/region do they play, and what team responsibilities do they prefer?
Before building, check the Marketplace for an existing maintained plugin. If nothing appropriate exists, build Squad Readiness Board.

Review, test, and continue through the SDK
Review the generated plan, source, manifest, capability requests, storage, commands, and dashboard authorization before building.
Test as:
- ordinary Member
- PC player
- Console player
- Competitive Captain
- Mentor
- user whose Captain role was revoked
Test direct record URLs, cross-server isolation, archived records, stale profiles, and exports if they are ever added.
Continue in Visual Studio Code with the current YourBot SDK workflow:
yourbot newyourbot devyourbot dev --watchyourbot validateyourbot doctor
Marketplace publication is optional.
Passing validation does not prove that the roster logic, permissions, or community policies are correct.
Run a Complete First-Week Member Journey
| Scenario | Successful result |
|---|---|
| New PC member joins | Verifies, chooses PC/region/mode interests, and sees no staff channels. |
| Console member joins | Can socialize with PC members but Group Finder clearly separates operational matchmaking pools. |
| Duo LFG | Template caps at 2 and does not accept a third teammate. |
| Squad LFG | Template caps at 4 and puts a fifth member on the waitlist. |
| Ranked listing | Includes platform pool, region, TPP/FPP, current goal, and comms requirement. |
| Community event | Eight attendees are explicitly divided into two Squads or placed in a verified Custom Match format. |
| Temporary voice | Duo/Squad room uses correct cap and deletes when empty. |
| Clan ticket | Acceptance remains Discord-side until a PUBG Clan officer sends the actual in-game invite. |
| Readiness profile | Member updates self-reported preferences; Captain access disappears after role revocation. |
Fix any platform-pool, party-size, or queue confusion before adding more automation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can PC PUBG players squad with Xbox or PlayStation players?
No. PUBG's matchmaking treats PC and Console as different platform environments. Steam and Epic can play together on PC; Xbox and PlayStation can cross-play on Console.
What is the correct PUBG Squad size?
Four players. Duo is two. Do not use YourBot's generic five-person starter template for PUBG.
Are PlayStation 4 and Xbox One still supported?
No. PUBG Console transitioned to current-gen only in November 2025. Current console support is PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Does YourBot automatically detect PUBG in Group Finder?
Not in the read-only develop revision inspected for this guide. Create explicit PUBG Duo and Squad templates manually.
Is PUBG already in YourBot's Social Feeds catalog?
Not in the inspected curated catalog. Use the generic Steam source with App ID 578080.
Can YourBot read my Ranked tier, K/D, win rate, or PUBG Clan role?
Not through the built-in services used here. The optional Squad Readiness Board is intentionally self-reported in version 1.
Can Group Finder be used for Custom Matches or Playgrounds?
Yes for organizing Discord participants, but use the actual selected mode's team/player capacity. Joining the Discord listing does not create or reserve the PUBG match.
Is Duo Rumble permanent?
The current Update 43.1 PC Duo Rumble is a dated September 12–October 14, 2026 event in selected regions. Treat it as current temporary content, not a permanent PUBG rule.
Build the Discord Around the Team That Can Actually Queue Together
PUBG already provides matchmaking, Ranked, Clans, Custom Matches, Playgrounds, game voice, and live-service events. A useful Discord should make those systems easier to coordinate without pretending to replace them.
Start Your Server establishes a durable structure. Welcome separates PC and Console before people waste time forming incompatible parties. Sentinel protects a competitive shooter community from cheat sellers, phishing, and abuse. Group Finder uses the real Duo and four-player Squad sizes. Beacon scales larger community attendance into real Squads or verified Custom Match formats. Temporary voice mirrors the actual team. Announcements and Social Feeds keep temporary live-service changes dated instead of turning them into permanent architecture.
PUBG remains authoritative for matchmaking, Ranked, Clan membership, match results, player stats, inventory, rewards, bans, Custom Match state, and event eligibility.
Use Start Your Server to establish or refine the Discord foundation. Add Plugin Builder only when a persistent workflow such as Squad Readiness becomes a recurring need the built-in services do not already solve.
