Welcome is granted these permissions by the invite link. A command that finds one missing replies privately with what it could not do and changes nothing.

Comportamento

Picks the look of the welcome card. Requires Manage Server; without it the bot replies "Requires Manage Server." The reply is visible only to you and reads "Card template set to gradient." with the name you picked.

The choices are Gradient (gold), Dark, Light and Minimal. Light is a pale card with dark text. The other three are dark cards with gold accents. The card is an 800 by 350 image with the member's avatar in a circle, the line "Welcome to <server>", their display name and "Member #N".

Good to know

  • The command does not switch the card on or off. That toggle, Generate Welcome Card, is on the Settings page and is on by default.
  • The Custom Background template is not offered here. Pick it on the Settings page and paste an https link to your image.
  • When the chosen welcome message carries its own picture, that picture is shown instead of the card.
  • A card that takes too long to build is dropped and the greeting goes out without it.
