Moves a member to another voice or stage channel and opens a case. Discord shows the /voicemod group only to members with Mute Members by default. The bot checks Command Access rules, that the Moderation service is enabled ("Sentinel is not enabled for this server."), and that the moderator is an Administrator or holds a moderator role from the Settings page ("No permission."). It refuses to act on the server owner, on bots, and on anyone whose highest role is at or above the moderator's own ("Cannot action that member."). The reason is optional and defaults to "Moved by a moderator".
The channel option only offers voice and stage channels. A channel that is not a voice channel of this server gets "That is not a voice channel in this server." A member who is not connected to voice cannot be moved: "@member is not in a voice channel right now. Discord only lets me change that while they are connected." On success a voice move case is opened, a "Voice move" card with the member, who acted, the destination channel, the reason and the case goes to the moderation log channel, and the reply is "@member: voice move. Case #12". No DM is sent.
Good to know
- While an anti-nuke panic lockdown is on, only the server owner and the anti-nuke exempt users and roles can run it.
