Sets the slowmode delay of the channel where it is run. Discord shows the command only to members with Manage Messages by default. The bot checks Command Access rules, that the Moderation service is enabled ("Sentinel is not enabled for this server."), and that the moderator is an Administrator or holds a moderator role from the Settings page ("No permission.").
The seconds value is clamped to 0 to 21600 (six hours, Discord's maximum). 0 turns slowmode off. The reply is "Slowmode set to 30s." or "Slowmode set to disabled.", and a "Slowmode" card with the channel and the delay goes to the moderation log channel. No case is opened.
Good to know
- Raid mode sets its own slowmode on every text channel and puts the earlier values back when it turns off. A value set with /slowmode while raid mode is on is replaced at that point.
- While an anti-nuke panic lockdown is on, only the server owner and the anti-nuke exempt users and roles can run it.
