Lets any member report another member to the moderation team. The bot checks Command Access rules and that the Moderation service is enabled ("Sentinel is not enabled for this server."). Reporting yourself or a bot is refused: "You can't report yourself or a bot." The reason is kept to 2000 characters. Only the reporter sees the replies.
A member can have one pending report per target. A second report against the same member while the first is still open is not filed; the reply says a pending report already exists and the moderation team will review it.
For a new report the bot saves the last messages of the channel where the command was run as context for staff (30 by default, up to 50, set under Settings > Report resolution; 0 turns it off), together with a jump link to the reported member's latest message there. That needs Read Message History; without it the bare report is still filed. The report also gets a triage score built from the reported member's warning points, other pending reports against them in the last 24 hours, their prior cases, a young account, and flagged words in the captured messages; reporters whose past reports were mostly dismissed count for less. A pending report also raises the reported member's own risk score.
When the triage score reaches the "Auto-escalate high-risk reports above" value and a moderation log channel is set, a card titled "High-risk report filed" is posted there mentioning the moderator roles, with "@target was reported by @reporter. Risk score: 24 (threshold 20)." and the reason. The report still lands on the Reports page either way. The reply is "Your report about member#0000 has been submitted to the moderation team."
Good to know
- Staff handle reports on the dashboard Reports page, where a report can be marked Reviewed or Dismissed, linked to a case, or acted on with one click.
- With "DM the reporter when their report is resolved" on, the reporter gets a short DM when staff review or dismiss the report.
- To report one specific message, right-click it and pick Apps, then Report Message.
