Joins a group. Pick the listing from the autocomplete, which offers this server's open groups you are not already in, followed by groups shared from network peers marked network. You can also type part of a title. If Group Finder is switched off for the server the reply is Not enabled.
The command looks for the listing on this server first, then among network and public listings from peer servers. Nothing found gives No active listing matching '{query}'. If you are already seated or waitlisted: You're already in this group or waitlist. If the leader removed you earlier: You were removed from this group by the leader and can't rejoin.
Approval listings do not take direct joins. The reply points you to /group apply. When the group is already full, you are added to the waitlist if the listing has one (listings created with /group create always do) with Group **{title}** is full and a waitlist note; otherwise This group is full with no waitlist. Two people racing for the last seat are handled the same way: the loser lands on the waitlist.
On success the reply is Joined **{title}**!, with The group is now **full**! added when you took the last seat. The listing card updates everywhere it is posted, watchers get a DM that you joined, and for network or public listings you get a DM with the link to the cross-server event chat.
Good to know
- Filling the group triggers the automatic voice channel when the leader asked for voice.
- The Join button on the card does the same thing. Listings with role slots use a role picker instead.
