Shows the announcements waiting to post in this server. No options. Only you see the reply.
Each line carries the announcement number, when it posts as a relative time such as "in 2 hours", the target channel, the schedule type (once, daily, weekly or monthly) and the first 60 characters of the message. The soonest comes first and up to 15 are shown. With nothing waiting, the bot answers "No pending announcements."
The number at the start of a line is what /announce cancel asks for. The same number appears next to each entry on the dashboard.
What it does not show. Paused, already posted, cancelled and failed announcements are left out. The Announcements page on the dashboard lists every one of those and shows the month ahead on a calendar.
Good to know
- Any Command Access rule for it applies, and the server owner always passes. Discord shows it to every member by default.
- It does not check whether Announcements is switched on for the server, so it still answers while the service is off.
- A repeating announcement appears once, with its next post time. It stays listed after each post until its end date or post limit is reached.
