Subscriptions
YourBot subscriptions are priced per server. Each subscription covers one Discord server with a custom bot identity. Visit Buy Subscription to see current pricing. Your price stays locked for as long as you stay subscribed.
A subscription can cover more than one server. Pick additional servers when you buy, or add one later with Add a server on the subscription card on the Account page, for $2/mo each on the same subscription. Every server on a subscription has its own seat, assigned and released one at a time. Each seat runs its own custom bot: after assigning a server, open that server's Bot Settings and add its token, and use a different bot application for each seat. Adding a server part-way through a period is charged for the rest of that period, right away for larger amounts and on the next invoice for small ones. Removing a seat takes effect at the end of the billing period: the seat stays yours until then and nothing is refunded for the rest of the period.
A subscription is bought on your account and then assigned to a server from the Account page. You can move it to a different server later. Plugin licences and settings move with it.
Free and Premium features
Every built-in service works on the shared bot without a subscription, and at the moment every feature and limit inside them is included for every server. Each service's docs page has a generated What is included table, for example Moderation; if a service's features are ever split into free and Premium tiers, that table switches to showing the split. A subscription adds a custom bot identity, marketplace access, the Plugin Builder, Start Your Server credits and support. A server counts as subscribed while a subscription is assigned to it.
Grace period
When a subscription lapses, the server keeps what the subscription added for a 7-day grace period. After that:
- The ten built-in services keep running. They do not depend on the subscription.
- Marketplace plugins pause until a subscription is assigned again.
- The server goes back to the shared bot identity.
- Settings and data are kept.
Plugin licences
Marketplace plugins are licensed per server. When you purchase a plugin, the licence is tied to your YourBot subscription. If you move your subscription to a different server, your plugin licences move with it. Manage them from Account, then All Purchased Plugins.
Cancellation
You can cancel your YourBot subscription at any time from the Account page. When a subscription is cancelled:
- All plugin licences tied to that subscription are automatically cancelled.
- Your server reverts to the shared bot.
- Your server configuration, service and plugin data are retained while the server is unsubscribed, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- The ten core services keep running on the shared bot; marketplace plugins pause after a 7-day grace period until you re-subscribe.
Refunds
Plugin refunds can be requested from the plugin's Marketplace page or your licences page. The developer reviews your request first and our staff make the final decision. Subscription refunds follow the terms.
Receipts and payment methods
Stripe handles every payment. Receipts, invoices and card changes are on the Account page under payment history.
