Posts a stats card image for one member of this server. The member option is optional and defaults to you. The card shows the member's avatar and name, Message and Voice ranks, Messages for 1d, 7d and All, Voice minutes for 1d, 7d and All, a "Top Channels & Voice" list (top three text channels and top two voice channels), a 30-day activity chart and dates such as Joined. "All" means everything the server still stores. Which sections appear, the colours and the background image are set on the Card Designer page.
A "Switch view..." dropdown redraws the card as Overview ("Ranks, messages, voice, channels, chart"), Activity Graph ("Full 30-day message & voice activity chart") or Channel Breakdown ("Detailed text & voice channel usage", with Text Channels and Voice Channels lists). Only the person who ran the command can use it; others get "Only the command user can switch views." The dropdown is removed after 5 minutes, and a click on an older card after a bot restart removes it or answers "This card has expired. Use the command again for a new one."
An "Open & share" button opens a public web page of the card, when sharing is available on this server. On your own card there is also a "Hide my card" or "Show my card" button: hiding answers "Your stats card is now hidden: no public link, and /stats will not show it to others." and showing again answers "Your stats card is visible again." Only the card's owner can press it.
Some members cannot be shown, and each refusal is private. A member who hid their card gets "That member has hidden their stats card." when someone else asks. A bot account, while Ignore bots is on, gets "Bots are not tracked by Analytics on this server." A member holding an excluded role gets "That member's activity is excluded from Analytics on this server.", or "Your activity is excluded from Analytics on this server." when it is you. The last two only apply when nothing at all is stored for that member: someone active before the exclusion still has a real card.
The reply is public. The command only works in a server ("Server only." otherwise) and needs Analytics turned on there. If it is off, the private reply is "Analytics not enabled here. Use /yourbot to see how to turn it on."
Good to know
- If Public cards enabled is unchecked on the Card Designer page, the private reply is "Stats cards are turned off for this server."
- The Top Channels list only names channels the person who ran the command can open, so a public reply never reveals a private channel.
- Detail older than the Data retention window is removed every night, so the All totals and the ranks cover stored activity only.
- If the card cannot be drawn, a text summary titled "📊 Name's Stats" is posted instead with stored messages, voice hours, ranks and session count. If that fails too, the private reply is "Stats are not available right now. Try again in a moment."
- /me is this command for yourself and /user for someone else. /chart member draws one member per day. The "Open & share" page stops working once the member hides their card or leaves the server, and managers can reset every share link from the Analytics Settings page.
