Draws a per-day chart image for one channel. Pick a text, announcement, forum or media channel and you get messages per day, titled "#name: messages per day", with Messages, Avg/day and Peak day totals. Pick a voice or stage channel and you get voice minutes per day, titled "name: voice minutes per day", with Voice hours, Avg/day and Peak day totals. The channel picker does not offer categories, because nothing is ever counted against a category. Messages posted in threads and forum posts count toward their parent channel, which is why a forum can be charted.
The channel option is required. The days option offers 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, and 30 is used when you leave it out. The window never reaches past what the server keeps: on a server that keeps 30 days of data, a 90-day request draws 30 days and the reply says "Showing 30 days: this server keeps 30 days of Analytics data."
The reply is private by default, so only you see the chart. Set post to yes to post the chart in the channel for everyone.
Two refusals stay private. A channel you cannot open, or one the bot no longer sees, gets "You cannot view that channel." A channel on the Excluded channels list gets "That channel is excluded from Analytics on this server."
Good to know
- Works in servers only, and only while Analytics is turned on there. If it is off, the private reply is "Analytics not enabled here. Use /yourbot to see how to turn it on."
- Bot accounts are never drawn on this chart, whatever the Ignore bots setting says.
- Days are cut at midnight in the timezone from the Analytics Settings page, which follows the server timezone unless you change it. Colours come from the Card Designer page.
- If the chart cannot be drawn, the private reply is "That chart is not available right now. Try again in a moment."
- /top with the Message channels or Voice channels page ranks channels against each other. The dashboard's Channels page breaks activity down by channel.
