YourBot v0.0.22
Added
- The bot now has a /help command. It privately lists every command available in your server based on your enabled plugins, with quick links to your dashboard, the docs and the support server.
- Private plugins for developers. Keep a plugin private and publish new versions instantly for use on your own servers with no marketplace review. Flip between private and public any time from your plugin's Distribution card, and existing installs are handled safely in both directions.
- Plugin dashboards leveled up. Dashboards now support sections, tabs, new widget types, table formatting, custom themes and action buttons with optional confirmation prompts. Widgets can react to live data and refresh right after an action runs.
- The dashboard editor in the dev portal gained a live preview, theming controls and an AI copilot, and the AI builder now designs a full dashboard for every new plugin instead of a basic auto-generated page.
- You can now request free changes to a proposed plan in the Plugin Builder and get a revised plan before you pay to build. A new progress rail shows where you are across the describe, build and preview steps.
- The review step of Start Your Server now recommends custom AI-built plugins and marketplace add-ons picked for your server design.
- Server owners now receive a critical security notification when a member of their server is banned from the YourBot platform.
- Answers from YourBot staff on marketplace plugin question pages are now clearly labeled as staff answers.
- The website navigation was reorganized into Features and Info menus, with three new feature pages showing what the built-in services, the server builder and the Plugin Builder can do.
- Ten new guide and comparison pages and two new blog articles went live, linked from a new Discover section in the site footer.
- The public website now uses Google Analytics, and only after you accept cookies. Declining means nothing loads and no analytics cookies are set.
Changed
- Bring Your Own bot is now called YourBot Subscription everywhere you see it, including checkout and receipts, and running the bot under your own Discord token is now called a custom bot.
- Billing now runs on our live payment system. Subscriptions, marketplace plugin purchases and AI credit packs are fully live. A few early test-mode trials were ended during the switch and the affected members received a notification with steps to re-subscribe. The billing portal lets you update your payment method, view invoices and cancel any time.
- The dashboard sidebar now collapses into a slim icon rail instead of hiding completely, remembers your choice and stays in view while you scroll.
- Start Your Server was redesigned. The server preview now fills the page, the AI chat sits in a dock at the bottom and building happens through a new Review and build panel. The Services and Roles tabs were rebuilt as a cleaner list and editor layout on both the builder home and the plan page.
- The AI Plugin Builder is now a single guided Build Sheet that shows every setting up front, with plan review on the same page instead of a separate card.
- The homepage pricing section was redesigned into a cleaner offer console with live launch pricing, and the plugin creation section now previews the real Plugin Builder.
- The About page was fully redesigned with a cinematic scrolling story of how the platform works, and every claim on it was double-checked for accuracy.
- While the beta window is open, the subscription page now shows only the beta offer with the exact price you lock in by joining.
- The cookie banner asks everyone to choose again under updated wording. Declining or withdrawing consent now turns analytics off completely and clears analytics cookies, and the privacy and cookie policies were updated to match, including opt-out instructions and retention periods.
- The privacy policy now discloses the new membership records, risk scoring and ban notifications, and your data export includes these records too.
Enhanced
- FAQ search now finds answers even when you ask using the old wording of questions that were rewritten.
- Every marketplace plugin page now links to its category hub, and all six category pages gained proper descriptions.
Fixed
- Locking or unlocking a voice room no longer wipes the owner's and allowed roles' channel permissions, and transferring ownership now actually hands the new owner control of the channel in Discord.
- The three feature pages now display correctly on phones instead of clipping content off the edge of the screen.
- Dozens of FAQ answers were corrected to match how YourBot actually works, two FAQ articles with broken placeholder text were repaired and the homepage no longer mentions a free trial that does not exist.
- Joining the beta now charges the discounted launch price you were shown instead of the full standard price.
- AI credit purchases now deliver instantly after checkout, can no longer be applied twice if confirmation races the payment processor and the credits ledger always shows the exact amount applied.
- Banned or removed plugins now disappear from the marketplace immediately instead of staying installable for a few minutes, developers are notified when their plugin is banned and plugin auto-updates now reach everyone during the beta as intended.
- Dashboards built in the dev portal editor are no longer lost when a plugin auto-deploys through a webhook or resend.
- Fixed a crash that could break marketplace developer profile pages.
Removed
- The free no-card beta slot was retired. Everyone now joins the beta through the trial subscription, which locks in your launch price properly.
Security
- Closed several loopholes that could have let unreviewed private plugin versions run on servers other than the developer's own.
- Tightened plugin dashboard permissions so viewers can never reach manager-only data or actions.
- Hardened the plugin sandbox and SDK against several vulnerabilities found in an internal security review, including issues with malicious plugin uploads.
