YourBot v0.0.8

  • Live event tap (Events tab) — Plugin developers can watch inbound events stream into their plugin in real time, with type/server filters and pause/resume controls. Same tab includes a Replay tool to fire synthetic test events into your dev install without staging real Discord interactions.
  • Resource Usage on Analytics — Devs see a 7-day chart of their plugin's memory and CPU usage right on the Analytics tab. Spot leaks and runaway loops before customers report them.
  • Broadcast tab — Plugin developers can now send announcements to every server admin who installed their plugin — breaking-change warnings, migration notes, beta invites. Messages land in each admin's dashboard notifications inbox under "From dev".
  • Cron decorator in the SDK — Schedule recurring tasks with standard cron syntax: @plugin.cron("0 9 * * 1") runs every Monday at 09:00 UTC. Supports */N, ranges, and lists in all five fields.
  • Plugin starter templatesmmo new <id> --template slash|welcome|cron|basic scaffolds a complete plugin with working handlers, manifest, sample events, and passing unit tests. Run mmo new --list-templates to see what each one builds.
  • Compatibility warnings on install — When you try to install a plugin whose slash commands collide with one you already have (or that the developer flagged as incompatible), you'll see a confirmation page explaining the conflict before anything changes. You can still proceed, but you'll know what to expect.
  • Coupon codes — Plugin developers can issue discount codes from the Pricing tab. Customers redeem them at checkout. A platform-wide $3 minimum keeps small plans viable.
  • Staged rollouts — Plugin developers can publish a new version to a percentage of installs first (10/25/50/100). Catch regressions on a slice of users before full rollout.
  • Bug Reports — Server admins can run /maid-bug-report in their Discord whenever a plugin misbehaves. The report lands in the developer's new Reports tab with surrounding context, and they can mark it open / in progress / resolved / wont-fix / duplicate.
  • Auto-fetched CHANGELOG — If your plugin repo includes a CHANGELOG.md, the platform parses it and shows the per-version notes on both the dev portal Versions tab and the customer-facing marketplace listing. No more manually copy-pasting release notes.
  • Pre-submit plugin validator — When a developer pulls a new version from GitHub, the platform now scans for manifest issues and forbidden patterns up front. Fixable problems are caught at submission instead of after a back-and-forth review cycle.
  • Auto-disable for chronic failures — If a plugin starts failing repeatedly on your server, the platform now automatically disables that one install for safety and notifies you. The plugin keeps running on other servers; you can re-enable from your dashboard once the developer ships a fix.
  • Staff plugin review opens with a high-signal "Changes vs previous version" summary — added/modified/removed file counts, capability and dependency diffs, and one-click jumps to the per-file diff. Faster reviews mean faster turnaround on submitted updates.
  • Notifications inbox distinguishes developer announcements from auto-update notifications, with a dedicated "From dev" badge and direct link back to the plugin listing.
  • mmo new scaffolds now end with the plugin.run() entry point guard and ship a tests/conftest.py so python -m pytest works out of the box without import errors.
