Start Your Server turns a plain-language description of your community into a complete Discord layout. It plans categories, channels, roles and permission setups, writes welcome and rules messages, and can switch on features like tickets, welcome messages and auto voice rooms with their settings already filled in.

You'll find it in the dashboard sidebar as Start Your Server once you've selected a server. Designing is completely safe to explore: your server is never touched until you press the Build button, and a backup snapshot is saved just before every build.

- You need to be the server owner. The builder can reshape your whole server, so only the owner sees it. Moderators and managers can't open it.
- The bot needs to be in your server. It needs at least View Channels to read your current layout, and Manage Channels plus Manage Roles to build.
- Give the builder's bot Administrator for best results. Without it, channels that are hidden from everyone and roles that sit above the bot can't be changed, and those steps of a build will fail with a clear note about why.
- Check the "building as" badge. The design page shows a small building as @bot badge naming the bot that makes every change. If your server runs its own custom bot, that bot is the one that needs the permissions, not the shared YourBot.

Type what you want into the message box and send it. The more specific you are about who the server is for and what should happen there, the better the first draft. A good prompt looks like:
A gaming community for an RPG guild with announcements, an LFG area, build sharing, voice channels and a moderator-only section.
The quick-start chips above the box fill in examples like this for you. If your request is vague the AI asks a question or two first; just answer in the chat. When it has enough to work with, the proposed layout appears in the panel beside the conversation.

Below the message box you'll find ready-made templates: a curated gallery, Your templates (designs you saved) and Community templates shared by other server owners. Clicking one gives you a ready-to-review plan instantly and for free, and you can still change anything in chat before building.
The chat reply is a summary; the design in the panel is the single source of truth. If the panel looks thinner than the chat described, or you see a note that the design got cut off, tell the AI to make it a bit smaller or split it into a couple of steps and it will rebuild a complete version.
Review before you build

The panel has Channels, Roles and (once there is something to change) Changes tabs. Click any channel to see it the way your members will: its intro message, topic and permissions. New items carry a new tag so you can tell additions from things you already have.

Use the See it as picker to preview the server through any role's eyes. It shows how many channels that member can see and marks the ones they can read but not post in. This is the fastest way to catch a layout where new members would see nothing.
Verificação de Prontidão
Every design gets an automatic Safety check. It flags risky setups like a server that looks empty to newcomers, hidden channels nobody can reach, a missing moderator role or missing rules and welcome channels. Most findings come with a Fix in chat button that pre-fills the fix for you.
Quick edits without the AI
Hover any category, channel or role for instant edits: rename (✎), remove from the design (✕) and, on channels, move to another category (⇄). These are free and immediate, and removing something from the design never deletes anything from your server.
Plugins em destaque e mais recentes
When the design switches on features like tickets or welcome messages, you'll find them under Features: click one to configure it in the Roles tab, with their settings editable before you build. The builder may also suggest marketplace add-ons that fit your community and plugin ideas you could build yourself.

Press Build it in your server and the bot applies the design live, item by item, with a progress bar and a running list of what landed. A snapshot of your server is saved just before anything changes.

Building never removes anything by default. If the design proposes deletions, they appear as unchecked boxes with the note Deletions are off by default. Check only what you want removed. A second list, In the server but NOT in your design, offers existing items you could remove so a rebuild comes out clean, and Start fresh checks them all at once. Anything you check requires ticking a confirmation that the items and their messages are deleted permanently.
Items marked Kept for your enabled features are protected: they belong to features that are switched on (like open ticket channels) and deleting them would break the feature. To remove them, turn the feature off on the Plugins page first.
Sair deste grupo?
Every planned change in the Changes tab has its own checkbox. Uncheck a row and that one change is left out of the build; everything else still runs.

When a design includes onboarding, an opt-in checkbox offers to set it up: it turns on Discord's Community mode, adds a rules and a moderator-updates channel and configures the welcome screen and starter questions. This needs the bot to have Administrator. One step stays yours: the rules agreement gate is switched on by you in Discord's Server Settings, since bots aren't allowed to do it.
If some items fail
A build never stops halfway because one item fails; it finishes everything it can and then shows a Build report: what didn't land and why. The most common cause is a locked channel or a role above the bot. Give the bot named in the report the Administrator permission (or drag its role to the top), then press Retry the failed items. Building again is always safe: anything that already exists is skipped, never duplicated.

- Features set up for you. The plan page lists every feature the build configured, ready to try. If one needs a finishing touch (usually a channel), it is flagged with exactly what's missing.
- Undo and backup. Download backup saves the pre-build snapshot as a file, and Undo build recreates your previous structure. Restored channels come back empty: Discord cannot restore deleted messages, which is why deletions ask for explicit confirmation.
- Save it as a template. Like the result? Save this design as a template keeps it under Your templates for the next server, and you can share it to Community templates (your Discord name shows as the author, and you can make it private again any time).
- Keep refining. The conversation stays open. Ask for changes any time and build again; repeat builds only apply what's different.
O que desbloqueia
- You start with 20 free designs. The allowance is tracked for both you and the server, so a fresh server does not reset it. A new design and each follow-up change you send in chat both count as one. Templates are instant and free and don't use one, and neither do the inline rename, move and remove edits.
- After the free designs, messages use AI credits. The price of your next message shows above the message box before you send it, so there are no surprises.
- You only pay for what is used. Sending a message places a hold for the shown amount, the actual cost is usually much lower and the unused part comes straight back. If a design fails for any reason you are not charged, and the error says so.
- Building is free. Credits pay for designing; pressing Build and re-running builds costs nothing.
- Top up any time. The Get credits link next to the price opens the credits page with packs, your balance and a full history of holds and refunds.
- There is a daily design limit per server as an abuse backstop. If you ever hit it, it resets at midnight UTC.
Perguntas comuns
The build finished but some items "couldn't be changed"
Those items are locked away from the bot: channels hidden from everyone or roles that sit above the bot's own role. Discord only lets a bot past those locks with the Administrator permission. Give the bot named in the build report Administrator (or move its role to the top of the role list), then press Retry the failed items.
I gave YourBot Administrator but the build still fails
If your server runs its own custom bot, the builder works through that bot instead of the shared YourBot. Check the building as @bot badge on the design page: the bot it names is the one that needs Administrator.
Will building delete my channels or messages?
Not unless you explicitly ask it to. Builds add and organize by default; every deletion is an unchecked box you have to check yourself, plus a confirmation that the deletion is permanent. Checked deletions do permanently remove those channels and their message history, so read that list carefully.
Can I undo a build?
Yes, structurally. Undo build recreates the channels, categories and roles from the snapshot taken just before the build, with their permissions and settings. Restored channels come back empty because Discord cannot restore deleted messages. You can also download the backup as a file.
Why can't my moderators open Start Your Server?
The builder is owner-only by design. It can restructure the entire server including deletions, so it is limited to the server owner and can't be granted to managers from the Access page.

Only one design runs per server at a time, so two messages sent together don't produce two conflicting layouts. Give it a moment to finish and send again. If a build was interrupted mid-way (for example by a restart), the plan page says so, and Build again safely finishes the job while skipping everything that already exists.
The chat described things that aren't in the layout
The layout panel is what actually gets built, so always check it before building. If it's missing something the chat promised, say so ("you only added roles, include the channels you described") or ask for a smaller design; very large designs can get cut off, and the AI warns you in chat when that happens.
Do I get charged when something goes wrong?
No. If a design fails, times out or can't be saved, the full hold is refunded before you're told and the message ends with "Nothing was charged." Failed attempts don't use up free designs either.
